Dr Wells is amazing. She gets on the floor to pet my pups while she's talking to me. My doggies love her to. They get very wiggly when they see her 💜 I would absolutely recommend. I drive from Hillsboro to Mebane to see them.

Great with humans and animals. Prompt, efficient, patience, and very loving of the animals and their jobs. Highly recommend. My pup Hestia/Peanut was seen for a physical and shots. My cat Tiffany was seen for her shots.

We’ve been taking all of our cats and dogs here for several years now, and we absolutely love them. They are always responsive when we call and they've got them in when they needed it the most. The vets and vet techs are always nice and caring. They explain things so you can understand it and they take their time to answer your questions. We only have cats now, which can be difficult (claws hurt, you know). They handle them with such care and are always so gentle, even when our cats aren’t so gentle back. We always feel great taking them here. We know our pets are getting the best care around anytime they are there. Thank you Southern Animal Hospital for always treating us and our animals with respect and great care!!

I will start by saying, Terra Wells is stellar at this facility and the main reason we went to this vet. Being someone who has ptsd due to an autoimmune disability, Dr Wells was very accommodating and kind to me and my ESA dog, Captain and I so appreciate her. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff is not equipped and does not care to be equipped to deal with those of us with respiratory issues or autoimmune disabilities in the time of Covid by at least masking when they are just even in the small exam rooms with us. I had told this vet clinic about my situation when starting care there and Dr. Wells was kind enough to agree I’d be fine to come there. I regret the rest of the staff is not on board with Dr. Wells progressive care. I have moved to a vet that cares about my health and my dog’s. If you are in perfect health and have no worries about your health then this clinic is fine. If you’re older, immune compromised , have any co morbidities or disabilities, BEWARE.

I've been using Southern Animal Hospital for the past year or so since moving to the area. They have truly been wonderful. They are thoughtful, attentive, thorough, and gentle, and they take the time to explain what's going on and answer all of my questions. Plus, they're fast and on time, super responsive (email and text), and follow up to check in on how my pup is doing after a visit. I have no complaints!
