The Lakeside Animal Hospital was extremely great. All of the Staff were very professional and courteous. I would recommend them highly.

Dr. McKenna does an amazing job with all of my fur babies. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals. Kind, patient and friendly. Recently I had two of my (indoor only) cats get sick and he had them feeling and looking better in just a day or two. My dog also needed surgery and he did an amazing job with that. I would highly recommend Dr. McKenna to anyone with fur babies.

I have been taking my pets to Lakeside Animal Hospital and Dr. McKenna for many years, and I can honestly say they have been a vital part of my family’s life. Dr. McKenna and the entire staff have always shown genuine care, compassion, and professionalism, making every visit a positive experience. One moment that truly stands out was when I thought I might have to say goodbye to my beloved beagle, Milo. He hadn’t been eating and was clearly in pain, and I was devastated, especially after he had undergone back surgery three years earlier. I was preparing myself for the worst, but Dr. McKenna’s advice changed everything. He suggested I take him to a specialist to get a second opinion before making any decisions. That advice was a turning point — it gave Milo a chance, and thanks to that, I still have more time with my boy. The dedication and expertise of Dr. McKenna and his staff have always made me feel confident that my pets are in the best hands. I am forever grateful for their support and care over the years. Lakeside Animal Hospital is the best!

Been coming here for 6 years. They love my cat and they give me good information on how to keep my cat healthy. They even take my cat in on short notice when he has a problem. Staff is friendly too. Appointments don't take very long which is good because my cat does not like being anywhere but his familiar surroundings.

We left. My dog is suffering with a hurt leg, and I scheduled a day before, because they wouldn’t see her right away. Well, I get there, do the paperwork and wait. I waited 70 min, while hearing these nurses jabbing on about their personal life and problems. I finally talked to them about when I was going to be seen, and they gave me all these excuses as to why it’s taking so long, that there is only one person here, and the main vet, Dr McKenna, wasn’t there for the day, even though that was the purpose of the visit, was to see him. Don’t use this company. They are not nice and not well informed of their clients well-being.
