Dr. Joe is a great veterinarian. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and doesn't pressure you into unnecessary expenses. I have no worries when I recommend him and MSAH. I bring my dog to the Freret location.

Dr Graham and Jason the vet tech were a shining light that place. Our 8 year old German shepherd had periodontal disease and after an urgent care visit to them on Tuesday, they were able to fit us in two days later on Thursday for a cleaning and tooth extractions. Dr Graham was the only surgeon on that day and they had received 22 emergencies throughout the morning and afternoon. Dr Graham called us at 2pm and was so apologetic that he was not able to get to Zeus (our dog) due to the emergencies. We asked if it was okay if we just picked him up later in the evening if he could still get the work done. Dr Graham promised he would do his best and he probably stayed much later than he was supposed to and took care of Zeus and got it done. You can see that he cares for these animals and for their owners. I cannot express how grateful we are for his tenacity and for going the extra mile to make sure our Zeus got treated. Side note: When we were struggling to get an update on Zeus from multiple front desk staff, I saw Jason (the vet tech who helped admit Zeus when we dropped him off in the morning) and I pleaded for an update on Zeus. He was so kind and went to the back and came back 30 seconds later with an update on his status. It helped put our minds at ease and he was so gracious with us.

The 24/7 vet staff are extremely kind and patient. Our pet unfortunately passed before we got there so they weren't able to bring him back, but they allowed us all the time we needed to grieve and didn't charge a cent. Special appreciation to Darcy for helping navigate the paperwork and being so caring and considerate.

Took my dog in door ER visit. They were nice and knowledgeable. Doc was great. She started to feel better with the medication prescribed to her! Thank you!

Lily, my mini poodle, had her teeth cleaned. Everyone was polite and knew their job, whether it was checking us in, taking care of of Lily, or performing her anesthesia, or cleaning her teeth, did it with a smile and made me feel confident in their job. Lily came out later, happy to see me with the most beautiful teeth. I will go back when Dr Megan says that it’s time! Thank all of you! Susan Foxhall in
