Hot Springs Animal Hospital

I went in for shots and travel papers. Called made an appointment first. I was told I could have the travel paperwork then I asked my dog Remington could get his rabies shot early so I would not have to worry about it while I moved. My dog Luna needed her dppt that's it has rabies. They gave luna a rabies shot she didn't need and refused to give shot to dog almost due. Luna had a 3 yest rabies one year old. When I asked to get travel papers filled out refused and said the Dr who does that isn't in tell tomorrow. Upset I now I ha e to co.e back. I asked how much that would be she quoted me 55 dollars. I come back today. Waited in laby about 30 minutes then another hour in room. Dr comes in telling I dont need one. I told him state line require it at organ border. For 20 to 30 minutes tried to convince me otherwise. He looks up Organ requirements and noted yes Ishowd its needed but not necessary. I had to ask him 3 x I came for certificate. He finally walks out sends his nurse back now tells me its 200.00 for him to say Remington is clear . Of course I'd have to wait for it. So now I paid for rabies shot my dog didn't need and still no certificate. Be careful, they try to sell you things you dont need. Staff a d Doctors are not on same page and when you ask for something they do need they blow you off. Last time I took my dog in for ringworm and claims it was only demititus. I dont know many rashes that ooze junk form in a raised bump circle. I tried the foam of course since rashes waS not demititus it didn't work. Ordered Amazon topical and put on it cleared up in few days. Today asked about it. Again he said it looked like demititus. I told him that if he actually looks he will notice its in a circle. . I told them I won't be paying 200 and wont be going back

Took our Akita because he wasn't feeling good. We could tell he was in alot of pain. Went in on a Sunday. Front desk receptionist was nice and respectful. Took us to a room right away. It didnt take long to see the doctor. And was able to get all lab work and xrays done right there. Results came back fast. Not what we were expecting. All the staff was very caring, and very empathetic. Sad to say our dog had cancer and had spread. Thank you to everyone in this hospital for the patience and understanding and for treating our dog with respect.

Thanks again to the Dr and staff for your kindness and understanding. We had to put our lil man Porkchop down recently and they let us take him home to say good bye to everyone. We paid for the cremation pckg and were very pleased. 🙏🏾 All dogs go to heaven ❤️

So incredibly thankful for Dr. Sandhu and the staff at Hot Springs Animal Hospital. They got my dog (family) in first thing Sunday morning and provided excellent care for my little guy who was close to dying from Congestive Heart Failure. They saved his life, got us set up with the correct doses and I will forever be grateful for the care we received.

We are extremely pleased with our experiences at Hot Springs Animal Hospital. Our two senior dogs (ages 10 and 14) are regulars due to their health issues, I truly feel that Dr. Sandhu and Dr. Gill have helped them so much to have the best quality of life possible. The entire staff has always been professional, welcoming and compassionate. You can tell this is a team that does this work for all the right reasons. The vet industry can take a toll, it's hard and emotional work and I just want to show appreciation to the entire team for all you do, thank you!
