We came in today with our cat Toby. The staff was amazing and put us at ease with his diagnosis. They were very friendly, informative and reasonable when it came to the cost associated with our visit. I would highly recommend the Starkey Ranch Animal Hospital to all of my friends, family and neighbors in the area! Hands down the best vet I’ve ever been to! They have completely restored my faith in vets. After having a horrible experience at my last vet, I was very nervous to go to another in anticipation that I would be treated the same as before, but Starkey Ranch Animal Hospital completely proved me wrong. From beginning to end I had the best experience, and you can actually FEEL their passion and love for animals. They don’t try to upsell or guilt you, they actually care for you and your pet and enjoy working with you to achieve your pets health and wellness. My 16 year old ShihTzu Chunk was a part of the Starkey Ranch Family for many years until his recent decline. We always knew he was in the best hands & the staff knew the quality of life we wanted to give our little boy. Feel at peace knowing you and your loved one will be treated with compassion & given all the time you need to understand your pet's condition & plan for treatment. Doctor is very special at this! As for his staff; they're like members of my family. Melissa, doctor's wife, is a wonderful listener & she probably remembers more about the current happenings in our life then we do, because she always asks how things are going. Kathy, at the reception desk, can read what's in your heart before a tear or a smile becomes evident. Shay along with all of the other vet techs offer your loved ones their gentle hands. Please don't miss the opportunity to stop in for a visit here & you will see & feel exactly the way we do. Maybe one day, as our hearts heal, we'll introduce them to a new fur baby member of our family. Dr. David Sheridan and staff are wonderful. From our fur baby Bella's first visit to the most recent one today, she has always received excellent friendly care. She was terrified on her first visit, and Melissa (the front desk manager) welcomed her with lots of hugs and treats. She even had us take Bella in and out the front door (welcoming her back in with treats) to help desensitize her anxiety, and it worked!! On today's visit, Dr. Sheridan, Kathy at the front desk, and Shay were very kind as they allowed me to leave Bella at the office for 2-1/2 hours while I drove down the street for a dentist appointment. Thank you for saving me from having to make 2 trips! You guys are the best!
