Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic

My elderly dog got to the point where he was having trouble breathing. I had to take him to Pismo Beach Vet to be put to sleep. I thought I had it under control, but I fell apart when the vet came in to see him. Dr. Walti and her staff were amazing! I was a wreck yet they still handled the situation calmly. They even sent a very nice handwritten card to my address.

My wife and I were on vacation in the area and our dachshund puppy was having pain and discomfort in his ear but we weren’t sure if something was stuck in there or if he had an ear infection. We called around multiple places but since it was the weekend most places were closed or couldn’t see us. We called Pismo Beach Vet clinic and the staff was extremely nice and understanding and were able to get us in immediately. When I got there the check in was super easy and I was taken back immediately. The vet tech and Dr. Flores were also very nice and patient with Milo as they were checking in his ear. He was a little difficult letting them at first but they tried something else and were finally able to remove a fox tail that was stuck deep in his ear. The whole process was quick and we are so grateful for them and accommodating us would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a vet in the area!

We have three dogs who are all cared for by Pismo Beach Vet. Our two Pugs see Dr. Flores and our Mastiff/Shepherd Mix sees Dr. Walte. We’ve had mass removals, teeth removals, ear infections and cancer scares with this practice and they’ve given top notch care through everything. We also take all three dogs to Sarah their groomer who is absolutely amazing! Our pets actually enjoy going to get bathed by her. Can’t say enough good things about this practice!

We were introduced to Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic in March of 2020 as we were looking for a local Vet for our two golden retriever puppies. We couldn’t be more pleased as Dr Joel and staff have far exceeded our expectations with friendly professional service at affordable prices. We recommend the Wellness Plan as it covered all of the first year shots, immunization, worming, flea & ticks, spay/neuter, and 10% discount off all other services. We recommend Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic for the ultimate care of your family pet.

In our time of need after our dog was attacked on the beach in Avila we needed an emergency veterinary clinic. We were so lucky to have found this clinic as the staff and doctors were so understanding and caring. Doctor Swing was so kind and took the time to explain the procedure necessary to stitch up the wounds. We returned home the following day and yesterday the stitches came out and Archie looks great. You all did a magnificent job. Here are photos of day 1 and day 11.
