I forgot to leave a review for my dog’s emergency visit here in a Friday night. He got a foxtail up his nose from Morely Field Dog Park in 2024. Everyone was so lovely, comforting, and accommodating. They were prompt to do surgery to relive my poor pup’s pain. Thank you again to the whole team! **I included a little vid of the foxtails at the dog park, be careful friends!! The only sign i got was my dog started sneezing uncontrollably 💔 after surgery though he was good as ever immediately after, thankfully!

We stayed in the neighborhood for a little over a year. Generally got a friendly and (to my intuition) professional service, with vaccines and the occasional checkups. Yet, there were some hickups that would make me change vet had I stayed longer. Most notable are two cases: - We'd get regular reminders on every periodic vaccine ... Except for the cheap most crucial one of rabies! Our shot was good for 1 year (not 3 years which I assumed was the case. It was first time administered to our dog when just entering the US). We were basically uncovered for a month. This is maybe not a huge problem in the US. But I was lucky enough to catch this myself just before it was too late for our planned international travel a month or so later. - Upon leaving the US, we needed the clinic to help us with issuing health certificate for the EU. We did everything as instructed and a combination of delays in USDA and FedEx and us leaving our permanent address ended up in a shitstorm of multiple missed, rebooked, and last minute purchased airline tickets, short term stay bookings and car rentals, delay and cancelation of plans overseas, and a total of thousands(!) of dollars loss. We would have handled things so much better and efficiently had we known (free tip here) that the USDA endorsement date (not that of the vet exam) is that which matters for entering the EU and that the travel dates are not part of the forms. This info was provided to us later, over the phone and free of charge, by a kennel specializing in pet export, putting an end to 10 sleepless days of madness and anxiety. Needless to say, this took a toll also on our pet. Now, we don't expect the clinic to assume responsibility for our decisions or USDA/FedEx screwups. But we were so poorly advised and ill informed on the process. You'd think they would have so much more experience they could share and help guide us, make it easier for us to navigate the storm. Bottom line: friendly staff, vet's and techs seem to be just fine, but informative communication is critically lacking. As owner I felt like I must be extra vigilant to not drop the ball, never felt this way with my former regular vet.

Friendly, mostly up front about costs but unprofessional and not thorough. They were friendly enough to take us a few minutes early, and the second star is for at least letting me know the cost ahead of time, except for the ~$45 'wound cleaning' charge to get gunk from his ear (which was worth it for this instance, but a notice would have been nice since everything else was brought to my attention). Their sister office also delivered medication that they were out of stock on so I didnt have to go to costco myself. While the staff was professional over the phone requesting humane society information about my recently adopted kitten for his first check up post-adoption, it unfortunately stopped at the door. The exam room was awkwardly half lit, half in the dark, and both the tech and vet were very informal, asking none and few questions respectively aside from his name, age, and if he would need follow up FIV shots. And despite me sending the requested health records adequately beforehand, no one had read his records of treatment from before nor referred to or asked about them during thr visit, and I had to remind them of his history several times myself. He was very underweight for his age you could feel most every bone, which was dismissed as "hes a kitten, theyre supposed to be small" by the tech- yet the vet ten minutes later agreeing it was worrying. They forgot to do or overlooked basics like check his temperature which I had to ask for at the end, never listened to his lungs or felt his tummy as standard for first appts, I had to remind them both of the weight theyd taken earlier. The vet made also casual comments that he 'may have ringworm' with a black light test, had me look to confirm, and then made no effort to tell me how contagious it was or follow up on treatment except to 'watch it, it might be poop, it might be ringworm. If it gets worse come back'. Then making a joke that she should 'realy keep other scrubs at work, those were her only pair and its contagious'- which seems like a health risk for other pets also? No gloves were changes throughout. Ultimately, they completely misdiagnosed my main concern, and what our follow up vet at another clinic called a "horrible ear infection" by guessing it was earmites, despite taking a sample for testing and admittedly seeing a good deal of bacteria, which the vet stated was likely from scratching his ear with poopy paws. At check out, it wasnt made clear what was happening. the visit itself was billed several days beforehand (when scheduled online) there were totals and refunds not explained because of it, and had one staff member awkwardly loudly whispered to the other about my visit paperwork while I was standing directly actively being checked out. Ironically asking if I'd followed instruction sending the health paperwork that I had in fact sent, was confirmed at check in, and was never looked at. I would have loved for this to be a return local vet office for us as its so accessible, but after following up with another more professional vet I know that they missed and treated casually things that needed to be addressed. Hopefully this was a one time thing and they take others more seriously or thoroughly, but I wont be going back to find out unfortunately.

Such an amazing clinic. The staff is sweet and efficient. Both Dr Serdy and Dr Vineyard are great with my dramatic husky, resolving issues professionally, practically, and honestly economically. Sadly, I also recently had to put my cat to sleep suddenly and they were so amazing with sweet, thoughtful, and caring—making a hard situation just that much easier. Highly recommend!

I have been taking my fur family to Towne Centre Animal Hospital for years, and I cannot say enough positive things about their services. From the veterinarians to the entire team, their professionalism and expertise are outstanding. They genuinely care...not just for their furry patients, but also for the families who love them. Whether it's scheduling an appointment, receiving a follow-up call after a visit, filling a prescription, or undergoing a procedure, the process is always smooth and handled with compassion. If a health issue arises, they take the time to explain all care options with patience and empathy. My dog and cat have both been under their care for years, and I truly wouldn't go anywhere else. It's rare and refreshing to find a veterinary clinic that cares for your pets as much as you do. I highly recommend Towne Centre Animal Hospital for anyone seeking exceptional and compassionate veterinary care.
