City Paws Veterinary Clinic

I was very happy with my first experience at City Paws Veterinary Clinic. Everyone was very friendly. They thoroughly explained everything and happily answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed into making any decisions. The staff treated my cat well and gushed over how well she did in her examination. I also love that they have a drop-off service for days that they don’t have any appointments available. I dropped Khaleesi (my cat) off in the morning between 8am-9am. They examined her in between appointments. Then the doctor called me with her findings and recommendations in the afternoon so that I could decide how I wanted to proceed. She took the time to answer every question and concern and ended up on the phone with me for nearly 40 minutes! I was surprised that she took the time to go over everything with me. After we decided on a treatment plan, they allowed me to pick her up anytime after she was ready up until they closed (6pm), so I was able to grab her on my way home from work. Khaleesi isn’t very fond of the vet or her carrier, but I was happy to see that she didn’t seem traumatized or even that scared or nervous when I picked her Up, so I think she must have felt well taken care of during her stay. I will definitely be taking all of my pets there in the future.

Vets and techs were so patient and gentle. Exceptionally kind and thorough with my cat. Not judgmental of my cat’s weight, just helpful in coming up with approaches that can work for us. Very reasonable cost. Very responsive. They also see my friend’s pets (dogs and cats) and have been wonderful. One dental with extractions (cat) and one without (dog) - both went great. Easy to work with to get prescriptions through Chewy. Highly recommend.

Treated my dog great. Gave me plenty of time to ask questions and go over my options. Can tell they really want what's best for the animal but also consider cost and practicality into their recommended treatments. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Also there's a pet store next door so you can grab any other supplies you need in one easy stop. Very happy with their services.

Very happy with City Paws so far! We just had our first wellness visit/vaccines with Dr. Clayton. Both she and Kayli were very patient and kind with my two skittish cats and moved at a pace comfortable to them. I felt like Dr. Clayton took time to get to know our kitties and discuss our concerns.

Dr. Mattes has cared for my cats for many years and I'm so grateful for her compassionate care. She cared for my aging cats including end of life care as well as my new rescue kittens. City paws has a great welcoming environment and helpful and caring staff. Love this place!
