We have been taking our dogs to Dr R for years, probably over a decade. She has and continues to be a good and kind vet. However, in the last several years , Banfield’s practices have changed and it has impacted our dog’s care substantially for the negative. We now only have drop-offs, and so there is little to no interaction with the vet, and very little meaningful information is provided. It feels a bit like a conveyor belt, truth be told. Most recently, the doctor (not sure which one) completely missed that our dog was suffering from dental issues causing very noticeable bad breath and pain. We got a second opinion and it’s clear he will need several teeth extracted. It seems impossible they missed this as anyone can smell the tell-tale bad breath within 30 feet of our little guy. They also did not catch or convey the back pain he’s having which is likely arthritis. I wonder how much has been missed over the years. I blame the corporate push they place on vets to see as many pets as possible in as little time.

Great care team. I especially appreciated the follow up from a prior issue (which I'd forgotten about) as well as the questions they asked in considering our older dogs well-being and potential future treatments.

I’m just in aw and so happy. My poor cat Raine, somehow got a giant abscess on the side of her face. It grew so fast within such a short period of time. I took her in and they were able to help my girl. She’s just so much happier now even with the little drainage bag in her cheek. (Going in in 2 days to get it removed) She’s eating again and drinking again. I was so broken and felt so awful, like a terrible fur momma when I heard it was more than just a swollen eye, but a giant abscess they had to surgically remove. My fur babies are my children ya know? So imagine the relief that they were able to help, that now she’s back to herself. I can’t thank this banfield and their staff enough. Thank you, thank you.

Dr Rounsavell has been taken care of our pets for over 25 years. She is an exceptional human being, and surrounds herself with a tremendous staff that respects her and seeks to emulate her caring and professionalism. She has cried with us as our pets have had to leave us, and she has rejoiced with us as our puppies and kitties have joined our house. Thank you, Banfield!

I have always had an amazing experience with Banfield. I had Ace for 17 years and they took great care of him, I moved a lot in my youth and found a Banfield in every state I went which made care for my dog very easy. With our new puppy I knew exactly where we would take her to get her started with all her vaccines. I am new to this location but Alice and Canyon made us feel right at home the moment we walked in.
