Pet Dentist At Tampa Bay

Extremely positive experience. They took great care of my Collie’s abscess and fractured tooth. Everyone there was very welcoming and professional. Just a very pleasant atmosphere. A special thank you to our tech Val, she was exceptional!

This was my first time taking my sweet Bella to a practice outside of her primary care veterinarian for a dental cleaning and extractions, and I was so nervous. Bella has several health-related obstacles, so I knew she needed a team that would be patient, compassionate, and thorough. 🩷🐾 From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind and understanding. I even needed to call the after-hours doctor afterward, and she promptly returned both of my calls and helped me with a prescription refill. She was so patient and reassuring and never once made me feel like I was asking silly questions. As an anxious pet parent, that meant more to me than I can say. After Bella’s procedure, I was also given a thorough walkthrough of everything that was done and why, which gave me so much peace of mind. The next morning they followed up with me right away to see how she was doing. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my girl and for treating both Bella and me with so much kindness and compassion. I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about the entire team at PDATB, especially Dr. Waters and her asst. (can't recall her name, so sorry) who cared for my 15-year-old Border Collie Mix, Riley. As you can imagine, having a super-senior dog undergo multiple tooth extractions was incredibly stressful, not just for HIM but for ME; I was having panic attacks for weeks thinking he would never survive it. But from the very beginning I felt that Riley was in compassionate, knowledgeable hands. Dr. Waters took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions, and treated Riley with genuine kindness and care. She is even a herding dog mommy herself so she understood Riley's "challenges" (IE, he's terribly neurotic and anxious and nasty to everyone). The procedure went smoothly, and the difference afterward has been remarkable. Riley is so much more comfortable, energetic, is eating better, and seems happier than he has been in quite some time. It's clear that the team truly cares about the animals they treat, not just the dentistry itself. The professionalism, communication, and compassion throughout the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care Riley received and would recommend this team without hesitation to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary dental care. Thank you Dr. Waters for giving my (sometimes) sweet old boy a new lease on life! He is doing amazing.

I've been bringing one of our dogs here for 2 years, due to TMJ dysplasia diagnosis (via CT scan) and management, as well as some teeth that haven't dropped that need watched. The staff is all great, and the vets here are specialist/expert level and have advanced equipment/procedures for special cases like my Daisy. They're all very kind and really take the time to explain everything and ensure your pet's safety too. The prices are not the cheapest, but still very reasonable, and especially when you consider the expertise and equipment to take care of her that no other facility/staff would. It's 45-50 minutes each way for me, but worth it for the peace of mind that our little girl is getting the excellent care she needs and deserves. They also have good systems in place for establishing care, following up, scheduling, and coordinating with your general practitioner vet. They're all around a great company, at least at this location, and we're thankful for this facility/staff. I'm attaching a pic of our sweet little Daisy for tax. ;)

Our primary vet referred us. Dr. Duca explained things really well and Melissa was so patient and kind to my boy. I had a great experience from beginning to end. Definitely will be using them in the future!
