Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital- Urgent Care

The ladies at Salt Creek took great care of my pup! She came in very sick and they got her right in to be seen and were so gentle and kind to both of us. Thank you so much for helping Gypsy feel back to her usual happy self!

They took such wonderful care of our cat Ozie who needed emergency surgery and specialist care. They kept us informed every morning and afternoon on his status. He is home now and doing wonderful. I will only and will always go here for my pet needs. Thank you to the wonderful staff who helped my Ozie. Thank you Dr. Keelan.

I’ve only ever owned one dog. Yesterday I was told his cancer spread and he’d have to be euthanized… I can’t say enough good things about the team here. They had never met me before, I wasn’t a regular patient for them. They took AMAZING care of me and my baby Ken Thank you. And thank you to the donor whose generous blessing allows me to bring my baby home with me. I’ll never forget you even though I don’t know you. I seriously can’t thank you enough I can’t thank this team enough.

I cannot rave enough on this new Vet location here in Wichita Falls! Wichita Falls and surrounding towns so desperately needed a vet that is compassionate, dedicated to helping animals, and open when most clinics are closed. They allowed me to drop my baby boy off at 7:30AM on the way to work and I was able to pick him up over lunch break at 1PM for no extra charge. They took incredible care of him, kept me informed via text (photos of Xrays texted also), and I was able to text the veterinarian (Dr. Yoder) throughout the day with any questions that popped into my head. They sent prescriptions to Harvest Drug for me and I picked them up after work. The whole process was great and not as expensive as I thought it would be. GO SEE THEM! They’re limited hours/days right now until they see how business goes at this location, so let’s keep them here ♥️♥️

The customer service at the front desk was good no complaints there. The service provided for my dog due to blood in vomit was terrible. They took us back in an evaluation room that had one chair in a small space that was it. They wanted to do X-rays on him and sedate him which they did and never showed us the images but stated something was in his stomach and wanted to perform surgery right away until I challenged her and asked was there any other options. They have meds and even with paying all the money for no reason they still charge a 3 percent surcharge for all the money you pay. They did no other test they just wanted to cut him open. I took him to another doc for other test and 2nd option it was cheaper and they were confident that there was no foreign body which would result for surgery. I would not trust the opinion of this clinic with your pers. Seek care else where. If you are a military family or vet who cares for your little furry loved ones, please do not seek care here!
