Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital

Took my 1 year old Aussie Doodle to them. This was her first visit and the staff was so good with her! I’m pleased with their attention to detail and they answered all my questions with patience.

Ran short of dog meds while visiting family a day before Christmas. Staff was prompt in returning a call, and very quick to schedule an appointment. Was seen within 30 minutes of calling by a wonderful staff and doctor. Would not hesitate to return if needed. Thank you to Prairie Ridge for excellent treatment and excellent customer service!! (Greta thinks you are wonderful, too!)

These are the best vets and staff I've ever visited. They are compassionate and know their stuff. My dog was mis-diagnosed by two other vets and after $600 wasted, came here.They had my buddy diagnosed (correctly) and treated in minutes. He was better within days. He did not appreciate the glove. lol. They are very transparent about costs (reasonable) and easy to communicate with. They always follow up by text personally to check on your critter. So they always get some pics in return. :) Genuinely care about what they do. I live out of town and drive here just to see them.

Our dog recently had a pretty intense allergic reaction to what we think was an insect sting. Our regular vet was unable to get us in until late in the day so I saw that Prairie Ridge accepts walk ins. When we arrived, the lady at the reception desk advised that they didn't have enough staff coverage on that day for walk ins but she advised that she'd ask the vet that was in. After learning that my Shiloh was covered in hives and was super itchy & uncomfortable, Dr. Berry graciously agreed that she needed to be seen. We were treated with nothing but respect and it was very clear that helping Shiloh was their top priority. Shiloh was treated and was starting to experience relief within a couple of hours. I can't thank the Prairie Ridge crew enough for showing such compassion and getting my Shiloh on her way to healing! I would highly recommend Prairie Ridge for all of your pets' medical needs!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for—not just me, but more importantly, my cat. The office is clean, organized, and very comfortable. I was offered coffee while I checked in, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. I was seen quickly, even though this was a last-minute visit due to a complication after my cat’s surgery. They worked me in right away, which meant the world to me during such a stressful time. The veterinarians and vet techs were absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. They clearly explained everything that was going on, kept me updated throughout the visit, and made sure I understood the treatment plan. It was clear that everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they treat. Thanks to their prompt attention and expert care, my cat’s infection was addressed quickly and effectively. Their support during such a difficult moment was invaluable, and I felt truly cared for every step of the way. I would absolutely return to Prairie Ridge for any future care my pets need. They are an incredible team, and I’m so grateful for everything they did for my girl. Highly recommend!
