We came to Salty Paws after being told by 2 other vets that what was going on with our guy was “normal” when we knew it was not. Dr. V and the team listened, addressed many follow on issues, uncovering an undiagnosed illness. The new was delivered gently & Dr. V was patient as I processed the information. We left with news we did not anticipate but felt informed & educated on our path forward. Megan & Aaron were nothing short of amazing! Everyone in the office was kind & respectful towards the patients, their owners and each other. We have already recommended Salty Paws and are so thankful for our experience. Our dogs and cats receive excellent care at Salty Paws and have for years. You rarely need to wait when you arrive for appointments. Communication with the front desk and vets alike is excellent. Dr. Blessing has been very helpful in treating two of our pets with special needs. I have found every vet I've worked with at Salty Paws to be knowledgeable, sensitive and caring. I don’t really know where to begin, but the level of personalized and heartfelt service in such a demanding and stressful environment is unmatched. My two boys have been in for various things the past 2 years, but I happened to have JJ (Joy I believe) and Dr Dirmeyer this week during a dental cleaning/extractions/cyst removal/post op care for my yorkie baby. He wasn’t feeling so great after the surgery and anesthesia, and I had some concerns around not being able to get his meds down, not being able to get him to eat/drink, his apparent discomfort and restlessness etc. Quite frankly, I had a lot of personal stressors going on at the same time, and this worry and anxiety around my fur baby made it all explode at once in the way of tears. Joy and Dr D are professionals in the veterinary field, but for a moment you’d have thought they belonged in the human mental health field because they really assessed and deescalated my emotional response with compassion, understanding, and reassurance (not just for me but especially for my Yorkie baby). Joy and Dr D’s bedside manner is simply remarkable and I always feel my babies are in great hands here. I never felt rushed or discounted in any way. This isn’t to ignore the rest of the staff either. The ladies that I most often see at the front desk are always so nice and on top of things, and I’ve had interactions with most of the other veterinarians in the office as well. I know the staff work in a demanding environment with pet owners that are overprotective of their babies, so I just wanted to say thank you for making Bentley and Ghost feel like a priority when I know there are dozens of other patients expecting the same level of care at the same time.

I've taken my dog here three times. We just switched from another Vet. I am so impressed with the the level of care by the practitioners in this establishment. I really appreciate the time and care that the docs and staff take with each visit. I'm sorry to say I've had some bad experiences with some other local veterinary practices, so Salty Paws is like a breath of fresh air. I feel my dog is in capable and caring hands when I visit and feel we are lucky to have found this practice. They sincerely care. What a relief. Thank you to all of you for an exceptional experience. A Heartfelt Thanks to Dr. Blessing and Team! I cannot thank Dr. Blessing and her incredible team enough for their exceptional care in treating my dog's stubborn ear infection. After struggling with this recurring issue for what felt like ages, we finally found relief thanks to their expertise and dedication. From the moment we walked in, everyone at the clinic was wonderfully gentle and patient with my dog, who can be a bit anxious at the vet. Their compassionate approach made a huge difference in keeping him calm and comfortable throughout the examinations and treatments. Dr. Blessing's thoroughness in diagnosing the specific type of infection and her thoughtful explanation of the treatment plan gave me immense peace of mind. Thanks to their diligence and the effective treatment, my dog is finally free from his ear troubles and is back to his happy, playful self. It's such a relief to see him comfortable again.
