MVP Resort

My wife was referred to Dominick at MPV Resort to help with my Woody’s reactivity to larger dogs. After an initial meeting between Woody and Dominick, I agreed to six weeks of one on one sessions for obedience and reactivity. It was worth every penny and incredibly improved my relationship with Woody. Dominick has an exceptional ability to read dogs and train their owners. I learned so much about how to effectively train Woody to help him relate to other dogs and make our walks and life so much better. Woody and I are still working on the reactivity but he improves every day and is a much happier and obedient friend. Moreover, he can now go to doggie daycare. Something I worried he could never do. Thanks MVP!

We have been taking our pup here to Daycare for the good part of a year and it has been the best experience. Our pup is a little shy around new people and she has really come out of her shell with the supportive team at MVP. She loves going to Daycare and my wife and I love to see the pictures/read the report cards at the end of the day. We really appreciate all that you do, MVP! Thank you for taking such great care of our pup.

MVP Resort is amazing! We originally found it when looking for a place with self-serve dog wash options (which are great!) but found the facility and staff to be so nice that we looked into doggie daycare as well. We have a very shy husky mix named Indigo who likes dogs but was so scared of strangers that she wouldn’t go into any public buildings without a screaming fit, so we were not sure she’d even get through the consultation process - but the staff at MVP was great at making her feel comfortable! During her consultation, it was clear that the trainer (Dominick Etienne) really understands dogs and got Indigo to open up, so she passed her consultation and had fun playing during the test-run. Just going to daycare once a week has made her a much more confident dog who loves all the workers at MVP and happily goes into pet stores and the vet’s office now. We also did an 8-week training program with Dominick to work on Indigo’s stranger danger reactivity and it was incredibly helpful! She’s a typical stubborn husky but was able to master key obedience skills and then apply them in “scarier” public places. When we started training, Indigo could rarely make it through a neighborhood walk without getting spooked and shutting down or trying to escape. Now, she’s able to walk confidently with only some nervous glances when in really crowded places. She’s continuing to improve and we’ll definitely be back for some one-off follow-up sessions with Dominick down the road! The website makes booking everything very easy and all of the staff are very nice and helpful. We can't recommend MVP enough!

MVP Resort staff are AMAZING!! We adopted our beagle in July and honestly, between daycare, boarding, and training our little energetic Luna has blossomed. If you are looking for a full-service, top-notch veterinary practice, training, grooming, daycare, and boarding facility- MVP is it. We love the photos + report cards from Luna's day. They even offer enrichment during daycare (brush up on obedience skills). Our dog trainer, Dominique is professional, knowledgeable, and amazing!!

Our pups always have the best time at MVP Resort! Their staff is incredible and they are very careful to not let pups get overstimulated. The dogs all have supervised playtime with small groups and a daily training session! Our dogs have practiced basic manners, agility, and tricks training. My beagle was a shy pup who generally doesn’t engage with other dogs. Now, he runs into MVP Resort with complete enthusiasm. Their team also provides detailed daily reports. We love it so much! I really think this is the best doggy daycare in the area!
