Medard Park Observation Boardwalk

Great place to picnic and camp. Beautiful views of the lake and wetlands. Went on a monday afternoon. Saw maybe 10 people while walking around the place. The camp ground areas looked very clean and well maintained. I can see this place getting crowded on weekends and the summer.

Best park. Love the trails and the boardwalk. Love you can go out on the boardwalk and see alligators in the wild. Very pleasant place to visit. Lots to do and see. Only 2 dollars for admission per car.

There was a big bird caught up in fishing line and hanging in a tree. We called the park to tell them and a ranger came right out and went out in a canoe to save the bird. He had to work hard to get to the bird. I appreciate his hard work. Thank you so much for being so kind.

Did some camping here last week. Very peaceful camp grounds. Clean showers an restrooms and very convenient to each stop for your camping area. Enjoyed the relaxing Nature trails and different areas to fish an take great pictures. Recommend for just a few days or up to 14 days. I will differently be going back.

We didn't catch any fish this trip, however, we did get to see 3 alligators, relax, enjoy the scenery, & fish. This is a very beautiful area!! #MakingLifetimeMemories
