(from Google)This beach feels surreal. There were no people except for us, you can enjoy the view on the snowy mountains from the comfort of the warm sand. FYI: you're not allowed to actually use the chimney to light fires
Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. Hike down the trail to find access to water, one specifically is harder to climb down so you'll find it empty most times so it's perfect if and pretty much private. A big slate rock slopes down directly into the water.
A bit of a hike but that keeps it uncrowded. Nice place to relax in the sun and swim in the crystal clear water. Sandy shores make it easy getting in and out of the water. Trees close by for hammocks.
This is the spot. Had the most relaxing time here! Came in thinking I was just going to spend a small amount of time and ended up spending a few hours. The parking lot is small but there’s a bunch of parking spaces along the road. The hike down is not bad nor long but the hike back up does get your heart pumping for a bit. The water was some of the clearest, bluest water in a lake I’ve swam in. Came out refreshed!
Need to walk 0.6 mile down the trail to the beach. Parking is free but very limited car park. Reached before noon and had to wait for 5-10 min to get the spot. Bit hard to Walk back on the trail with kids. Nice view to take pictures while hiking. Small beach with clear water good for family and all. Kids had fun getting inside the water. Will come back again.
