Isla Blanca Beach

Beautiful and peaceful. Cars are not allowed on the majority of beach. Surf was up when I was there. Good fishing on jetties.

$12 for vehicle entry, but free for walking in. This is the best beach area on this island. You can access the beach on both bay side and gulf side. The jetty is a great place for fishing. Its extended part cuts in to separate the bay and ocean water. Very cool. Also, from the jetty, you can watch the SpaceX launch facility. I know people gather here to watch the launch on the day. The bay side beach seems to be a good site to start self-helping water activities. I saw people play the jet board in the water. Rest area and restroom are available. It is a nicely maintained beach area.

The beach would greatly benefit from improved traffic management. Having staff or law enforcement on standby to direct vehicles would ease congestion and reduce unnecessary delays. With its growing popularity as an international destination, efficient traffic control is essential to enhance the visitor experience.

A absolute must visit when on the Island. Great way to enjoy several types of this beautiful area in Southern Texas.

Nice beach. Bring shade. October is great because it’s not too hot. SpaceX launch visible from nearby.
