(from Google)It’s absolutely gorgeous here - the scenery, the quietness, the nature, and if it’s not filled with people nice alone relax time. Lots of shells (obviously) so if you’re sensitive or not a fan wear water shoes. The lagoon is a great see also!! Such a vibe to go on the boat & chill or fish 😌
Beautiful place to visit! Shell Key Preserve has amazing views, clear water, and a peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing, boating, and enjoying nature. The beach feels clean and untouched, and the wildlife makes the experience even better. Definitely a hidden gem and a place I’d love to visit again!
Very beautiful area. Lots of shells. Quiet and peaceful. There were fewer than 20 people there when I went, though that is highly variable, I am sure.
Amazing scenery amazing vibe. When you are lucky, and there is no crowd you feel yourself so close to the nature like nowhere else. Kayaking through the mangrove forests is like a real adventure! There are so many different type of animals that you can watch close. It is so nice they managed to save this area in its original natural format.
Overnight camping on Shell Key Island in St. Petersburg, Florida, is an unforgettable experience. The island's stunning sunsets made it the perfect place to unwind. Kayaking to the island was a highlight. Camping was simple but peaceful, with no distractions and just the sound of the ocean. It was the ideal spot for a tranquil getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful camping and kayaking adventure!
