This is my favorite place to Eat in Bend. Everything in the food is fresh and very well-made. The people who work here are friendly and care about the service they provide.. My omelette had lots of fresh vegetables in it and tasted amazing. Not to mention the atmosphere being by far the most beautiful in town. My server was James and he Went out of his way to do a good job and make sure everyone was taken care of. He was friendly, And made you feel at home. I cannot say enough about the McKay Cottage. If you want a beautiful classy place to go with excellent service and food prepared as if you went to a five star restaurant, you should visit the MCay Cottage.

I look forward to visiting Bend mainly to eat here!! The strawberry crepes are soooo good!! We recently visited with a bunch of friends and everyone LOVED their meals that they ordered.

Even with the excellent reviews, this place still exceeded expectations. The bestie and I shared the lemon ricotta pancakes and the chicken brie croissant sandwich (gotta have something sweet and something savory!) and they even brought them to us in separated portions. Everything was so beyond delicious!! Service was top tier too-- they brought a carafe of coffee, offered a to go cup when we left. Brought a water dish and treat for our pup!

Had the pleasure of dining with a lovely lady on a nice fall day in November. We had Sunday Brunch in early afternoon with a few couples and groups waiting ahead of us. However, a 20-minute wait in a comfortable seat with something to drink in a nice setting seemed fine, no problem. The food was amazingly delicious! It was all I could eat, and my date took some home. The atmosphere was sunny and bright, nicely decorated, and appropriate for semi-formal dining. The service was totally, absolutely awesome! They really took care of us! Recommended! Will definitely return!

My family and friends ate Sunday brunch here while on a weekend trip to Bend. The staff were super friendly and the waiting environment outside was excellent. We loved the free coffee and fireside seating. Once inside, we sat outside and really enjoyed the cozy blanks on the chairs. This blanket feature was the most enjoyable and unexpected aspect of our meal. The food was plentiful, but arrived slightly cool and seemed to need extra salt to enhance the flavor. Not sure if we just got a bland batch of dishes, but we were surprised that we needed to request extra salt. Overall, this dining experience was delightful and highly recommended despite the seasoning deficiency.
