Fox & Hounds British Pub

A great dart bar with excellent food. They have dozens of beer on tap and the Guinness is on nitro. What a great beer when it is on nitro. Come for darts and stay for a meal. They have two separate dart areas. One has three sisal boards, and one room has two dart machines. The bartenders are great, friendly and helpful.

Went in on a Friday evening with a couple friends and had a pretty good time overall. The atmosphere was relaxed, not overly loud, and it was easy to actually have a conversation without shouting across the table. The bartenders were friendly and seemed to know their stuff when it came to drink recommendations. Food came out faster than I expected and everything tasted fresh. Prices felt fair for the area too. One of our drinks took a little longer than the rest, but it wasn't a big deal. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in the neighborhood.

This place is a gem. Great atmosphere, great people, great service, and a huge selection of drinks. Perfectly chill on off-days and hours, and full party on weekend/holiday/game nights. Also, Jeff & Rachel are the best bartenders and the owners are so sweet! Highly recommend stopping by the Fox & Hounds.

My favorite watering hole in or around Tampa. Absolutely love the place! It’s a close facsimile to MillTop Tavern in St. Augustine. Old world British pub feel all the way. Cheap decent fare, I enjoy the fish n chips. Can be a bit iffy depending on how busy it is. I go there for the booze, not the food. Glad it’s there when needed. **edited to add** Charm wore off, then vanished. Was great to be back post plandemic. Was visiting couple times a week and ordering anywhere from 2-4 drinks max. Never pedantic, maybe too patient over a few hours while I caught up on studies. Not sure the staff is really in it. Very jaded. It’s just a but too “hi, whatever”. It is what is. My standards are probably too high, that’s no doubt what they’d tell you. Almost get a hint like I’m being served by FBI agents; they wish. Great for a time; not a long time. 3/25/25. Djnowhut? 1776! After 19 years, we finally decided to try our local British pub, Fox and Hounds. It was all that I wanted it to be. The local dive bar ambiance was inviting in a weathered, well loved kinda way. The bar tender took care of the whole pub and did a damn good job! We started with a Jameson & Ginger and an Angry Orchard to wash down our fried green beans. The burger and BLT were also pleasantly delicious! I was immediately filled with regret for waiting so long to check it out!
