(from Google)Great food, service and atmosphere. Don't sleep on this place for brunch either, their bacon avocado sandwich is amazing. This place also has my favorite buffalo sauce whether it's in cauliflower bites, wings or a chicken sandwich. Mekhia will take good care of you, she's awesome.
First time visit the waitress I had was absolutely wonderful I asked her for recommendation on what to order she definitely hooked me up with the turkey meatloaf sweet potato casserole and grilled asparagus two thumbs up
Went here with a friend for lunch today. Arrived at 11:30 and had no problem being seated. My friend ordered the Berry Salad and I ordered the fish tacos. When they said my friends sell it down I thought it looked beautiful. It was full of color and it just looked really good. When the waitress sat my plate of tacos down I was at a loss for words. My friend said, “Wait ! Is that all you get?” I looked up at her and said, “I guess so!” On my large plate were two mini tacos, each with two very small pieces of fish.there was a little onion, slaw and a cream sauce swirl. My side was a ramekin of sweet potato casserole. I was surprised and disappointed! This amount of food did not even meet an appetizer or lunch size. And it cost $18.43 (I drank water) I wish I would have snapped a photo. The potatoes were yummy and our waitress was sweet.
In Ballantyne Village, off of Johnston Rd and Ballantyne Commons Pkwy in Charlotte, NC. Pic of food is fish, chips and coleslaw for $18.99 USD. Seated immediately, food came very quickly. Recommend.
We recently visited Black Finn after a sporting event, hoping for an enjoyable dining experience. However, the food turned out to be a bit of a letdown. The presentation was visually appealing, but my dad, who ordered the fish and chips, received a battered fried flour instead of the expected piece of fish. I believe it was haddock, but it was quite disappointing. He had to dig through the crust to find a small amount of fish. To make matters worse, when he inquired about the preparation method, the waitress was clueless and refused to ask the chef about allergens or any other relevant information. On the other hand, my mom’s sandwich was equally disappointing. It was mostly cheese, leaving her with very little meat. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet the expectations we had for a good meal. Overall, Black Finn fell short of the standards we had in mind.
