The food was amazing!! The servers and staff are excellent and on top of it. And the cook is the nicest praying lady! The liver and onions was the best I have ever had!! Colored greens yummy!! Thanks for a great dinning experience.

We're new to Clarksville and like trying all the restaurants unique to the area to find new favorites. So hubby found this on Google, and we decided to stop in on our way home from work/school. We were not disappointed! I like cozy places that feel like you're walking into someone's kitchen rather than a business, and this place felt like just that. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and polite. I listened to them banter among themselves and never once heard a cross word or attitude thrown. They all love and respect each other. And the food!! I had the pot roast with a side salad and mashed potatoes, my nephew had the chicken fried chicken with mac and cheese, and my husband had the meatloaf with pintos and greens. All of our plates were empty by the end. We never get dessert, and ended up getting a piece of cheesecake and a fruit bowl to go. All of which were delicious!! Absolutely recommend this little place! We will most assuredly be back to try more of the menu 💜💜

Second time the wife & I have been here. Both times was very enjoyable. Food was excellent and the desserts were amazing. The banana pudding was freshly made and not from a box. Our server, Ella, was amazing. Keep up the good work and food.

If a slice of the South is what your hungry for, don't skip this place. This unpolished atmosphere doesn't have to over compensate. You feel like your at your grandma's or favorite Aunts house. Oh, the fried chicken is made to order, so let them know 1st thing if thats what you want.

The food here is really good! The chicken is soooooo delicious and juicy, though I did not get my bacon I should have on my sandwich. My husband got the meatloaf and mac n cheese and said it was wonderful. He wasnt as thrilled with the oeach cobbler. It was our second visit and both times were really good. Service is okay but dont expect many smiles 😅
