(from Google)Definitely a tourist trap !! The service is terrible (like a tourist trap ). Wanted to buy a bottled soft drink but it was not really cold like it should be and I asked for a cup with ice. They wanted to charge me $ 1.50 for a cup with ice. Good luck to you 👎
🌟BEWARE 🌟 always check your receipts and take it if they ask you if you want one. we went in there and bought two stuffed animals and two small scoops of ice cream, one in a cup and the other one in a waffle cone and they charged us four times over the price. They also charged us for a double scoop when we did not get a double scoop we had to go back in there and the worst part about it is that the manager I should’ve asked for his name, but his initials are PD was extremely rude and confrontational with us and tried telling us that we were with a bigger party when it was just the two of us, another employee there had to vouch for us and say that there was only the two of us when he just saw us. So in intern, we believe that they tried to scam us out of this money because they saw that we have money by the way we are dressed and we are also from out of town, but they messed with the wrong people. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would clean house. This is not the type of reputation that you wanna have, especially in Clearwater. We come here often and we have a lot of friends that also frequent here and we will be telling them when they come to vacation in Clearwater beware of the barefoot beach house. The employees ought to be ashamed of themselves.
A bottle of water was more expensive than a coffee, and the whipped cream on my afogato was so overwhipped that there were small pieces of butter in it. The workers were nice, although they did put whipped cream on my afogato when I said I didn't want any. Overall, its an okay option if you need a quick way to cool off, but I'd recommend finding someplace that doesn't charge extra for beachfront convenience.
All staff my sister and I came in contact with was amazing and polite. Cost of 55.00 for an umbrella & 3 chairs for over 5 hours. It was so worth it! In the ice cream shop they provided amazing service as well!
Staff, service and drinks are all 10/10! So many options and the drinks are absolutely delicious. A frozen coffee and the beach is the perfect combo!
