Overall we really enjoyed our dinner with Crabby's! My husband enjoyed the crab legs and grouper. My mixed drink (pina colada) was refreshing and beautiful. I did feel I should have ordered local fish in my own dinner for maximum flavor and texture, but overall it was a good meal. The service was impeccable, I was beyond pleased with Justin. Well done!

I wanted to have the same experience as I saw in the reviews but unfortunately that was not the case. We were greeted fairly quickly although there were a few people ahead of us. We opted for the third floor and the views were amazing. The open air seating and large fans added another touch on a hot day. The food was not all that great. Our service started out decent but dwindled the longer we were there. We ordered hush puppies, a fried grouper sandwich, crab cakes, stuffed flounder and a side salad. The hush puppies were hot with a side of sweet butter. The fried grouper sandwich- I would skip. The stuffed flounder only tasted of melted butter despite there being an appearance of seasoning on it. The stuffed part tasted like Stove Top. The crab cakes tasted the same and were really mushy. They came with a side of potatoes that literally were only cooked and placed on the plate. No presentation, no butter or seasoning. The side salad looked like it would have tasted fresh. Unfortunately, it had a piece of hair in it. I was so grossed out. We brought it to our server’s attention and he apologized and took the plate. It seemed like once we brought the hair in the salad to his attention he was hesitant to return to our table. I was ready to go after we picked over most of the food. The views are phenomenal.

There’s nothing like a breezy day eating upstairs at Crabby’s Dockside. This restaurant is so good, we have eaten there 3 days in a row. The Bardi crab legs are so delicious and succulent. They have a sweet taste and are larger than snow crabs. You can’t go wrong with this!!!

We’ve visited the Clearwater Beach area five times now and have driven past this restaurant on the Causeway countless times. We always meant to try it, but ended up at nearby spots like Cabanas and Hogan’s Hangout instead. Thankfully, after a boat tour near the parking lot, we finally decided to stop in — and we’re so glad we did! We were warmly greeted and seated upstairs on the 2nd floor, which offered a great elevated view. Just watch out for some incoming birds from time to time, who manage to get through the open spaces. They're pretty harmless. Our server was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and full of excellent menu recommendations. The food did not disappoint. We absolutely loved the gator bites with stone sauce, fresh raw oysters, crispy fish and chips, and the salad. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. This restaurant is now on our must-visit list for Clearwater Beach. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food and a nice view in the area!

Beautiful day to sit in the covered rooftop dining area! The view of Clearwater was wonderful and the breeze flowing through made the temperature very comfortable! I started with the house salad which was fresh and crisp, very good! I ordered the house specialty, grilled Grouper, and the potato mash. The grouper was cooked just right and was tasty. Nice and flaky! They didn't salt or pepper it, which allowed me to do so to my taste. The house made tartar sauce was light and flavorful! The potato mash was simple, but had a great flavor. It complemented the fish well! It was not a fancy presentation, which was fine for the laid back atmosphere! The staff was great and my waitress was attentive and helpful for suggestions! A+! The cost on many items are "market value", so be prepared. My total meal for one was $38. Also, be prepared that the "customer parking" is paid parking through an app, like Parkmobile. So about $3.25 for an hour. All in all, a great experience and I'd recommend it.
