Surfside Taphouse

Our server Ellie was very attentive throughout the whole dinner. The food was also very good, with very generous portions. This is my first time in Clearwater, but I would definitely try this restaurant again. I got the BBQ trio, which I attached a photo of.

Alexis was our waitress and was literally so fun! We came back again just for her to be our waitress! She checks in on us frequently and if we don’t need anything she’s willing to chitchat but also stay on top of her other tables! Super personable and professional. Will be back the next time we’re in Clearwater!

I was super happy we stopped in this restaurant looking for a great bite to eat. We met our match. There weren’t many people when we visited and that worked in our favor because there weren’t many people six of us and we brought our appetites. Kae (spelling) was our server and she was amazing from start to end. We ordered chicken wings, nachos, crab legs, chicken tenders and conch fritters. We ended up ordering a second plate of the nachos-some of the best I have had to date. The crab legs were insanely delicious. The butter and season just took them over the edge. Between these and the conch fritters I would order them every time I visit. The chicken wings were fried well and we had a medium sauce with ranch dressing. You also have to try the Grey Goose drink with the guava juice. Don’t skip this gem!!!

We chose this place for breakfast due to the advertisement outside of the building, breakfast POTATOES. My husband and I ordered platters, which were delicious, minus the lack of potatoes that we were served. Even the menu says breakfast POTATOES. We were given what I guess you would call hash browns…except it was like a grated consistency. They were very light in color and seemed just warmed up. I didn’t complain bc I was hungry and the waitress and everything else was perfectly fine. But IMO, please don’t advertise with a picture and then provide something else.

Food was average, including finding a hair inside one of the beef sliders. Service was friendly but super slow. All the menus were wet. The best part was when I asked for the wet table to get wiped, I was handed the napkin to clean it myself.
