Hey, Neighbor! - Friendly

The name is not an accident and neither is the dog in the logo. Hey Neighbor! is a Neo-Neapolitan wood-fired pizza joint with a dog friendly patio. My German Shepherd was comfortable throughout lunch and nobody batted an eye, even with her whining. Eight of us sat outside on a beautiful afternoon with a great relaxed neighborhood feel. When another party cleared out we migrated from the sun into the shade like civilized Pacific Northwesterners! I ordered a gluten-free, dairy-free pie with three meat toppings. Tasty, solid texture, good flavor, and enough food for two meals. But $25 stings a little. The GF crust was $5 and the DF cheese added another $2 or $3 on top of that. Not unique to this place, the whole industry charges extra for allergy-friendly food now. It still feels like one of those things society should eventually figure out. Eating around allergies shouldn't feel like buying front row concert tickets to TaylorSwift. The mocktail selection is solid. Everyone in our group is in recovery, so it was refreshing to see non-alcoholic options that felt intentional and well-crafted rather than an afterthought. Inside is cozy without trying too hard. Clean and colorful bathroom, warm atmosphere. Water service was the one lag in an otherwise solid experience, a little more attentive refills would push this to a clean five. Parking was easy even with the lot nearly full, which usually means you picked the right lunch spot. 4.5 stars. The food, the vibe, the dog, and the mocktails earn it.

10 outta 10 food was amazing, my girlfriend has celiac so she needs GF foods and we both couldn't even tell it was GF because it was so good! Definitely coming back and making it a regular thing! and the pizzas were a really good size compared to what we expected! And friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere.

Food and drinks were fantastic. Waiter was great, but he needed more help. I wasn't given any napkins or utensils and had to get them myself. It was just too busy for him alone. Not really a quiet place on a Thursday night. But the food was worth it. I paid around $40 for one drink,pizza and appetizer.

Fun atmosphere with excellent food and beverage. Vegan and vegetarian options available as well as GF. Tech savvy people can view the menu and order with a QR code. Very friendly staff with prompt and courteous service. Highly recommended!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted like a VIP. The staff here are professional, friendly, and truly attentive—never letting my sweet tea (so good I had 7 refills!) run dry. When my Pepperoni and Carnero pizzas arrived, I was blown away. The crust was crisp yet fluffy, the cheese melted perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and full of flavor. Every bite was pure pizza bliss—so good it made me want to close my eyes and savor the moment, but also made me want to start dancing! lol 🍕 Hey Neighbor nails it. If you want incredible food, top-notch service, and an experience that will have you coming back again and again, this is the place. I will be here often!
