Brother Wolf

I’ll start by saying, we love Osteria Stella. We come in often and it’s in our top five places to rotate between for our special occasions. The food is incredible and we love the high end Italian wine selection. Today we decided we wanted a nice bottle of wine, an appetizer and a little espresso. It was 8:20 so we knew we were cutting it close to the kitchen closing but we were just next door at turn club. So we called to double check that we could still order something really quick when we got there. They said the kitchen closes at nine. So we made a quick move and sat down at 8:23 in the booth at the window and before we were greeted we had decided to get a nice bottle of wine and some meatballs and bread and salad and pasta. The server overhears us and tells us just so you know the kitchen is closed. And we left, frustrated but understanding that maybe the person who answered the phone hadn’t got the memo. So we walked around and tried to figure out something else to eat, but we didn’t settle on anything and just went back to the car. When we walked by brother wolf, someone was in that exact booth, eating pasta. At 8:45. In the very same booth we had been told the kitchen was closed 20 minutes before. I have never been so upset about a restaurant experience and I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. There’s a lot of mistakes that happen in restaurants which Im very understanding of, and I’ve never left a bad review but that is next level unacceptable.

We love to go to Brother Wolf every year before the salon Christmas party. Its tradition. The cocktails are always in such fun mugs with cute names. Very tasty. Love how they add to the Christmas decorations every year.

Friendly bar with seasonal themed cocktails and decor to match. A wonderfully fun experience from the drinks to the staff. Add to your list of visits.

Love the atmosphere here, it’s a casual but a little eclectic place. Nice cocktails, pretty well made. I got an old fashioned, but it was made with rum. No complaints, just a bit different than i’m used to. My guest also had an espresso martini. Nicely made also. Very good, I’ll definitely comeback again. Nice place.
