(from Google)Great customer service, parking was easy in the lot next door, and the food was amazing. We had a lavender latte and the syrup is made in-house. It was creamy and delicious. Tried the veggie hash and the farmhouse sandwich. Both were fantastic. You’ve got to try the bacon honey butter on the biscuits - trust us!
The atmosphere is pretty basic and no frills but that’s ok because the food is really the star of the show. I didn’t get any thing from the dessert case but it all looked amazing. I started with a Mayan mocha because I don’t find those on the menu at too many places, not even at most coffee shops. It was pretty heavy on the cayenne but I gave it a good stir and then the chocolate came into play and balanced it out until I reached the bottom of the cup and there it was…spicy 😳. Next time I play it safe and get a basic latte! My party shared the biscuit and jam sampler, I really enjoyed all of the jams. My favorite was the blackberry orange. I ordered the combo plate of vegetable hash, two eggs over medium (which were cooked perfectly), bacon (wonderfully crispy), a nice fluffy biscuit with more of that blackberry orange jam. Wait a minute, turns out it was some other kind of berry jam. While it was disappointing that there was a mix up with the jam I just went with it and didn’t complain. We still had some blackberry from the sampler board so I used it instead. My friends were pleased with their food and the server was pleasant and checked on us a few times. All in all, it was a good choice for brunch and I will suggest it to others.
Buttercloud Café never disappoints! I tried their Eggs Benedict this time — perfectly poached eggs and fresh greens, topped with creamy hollandaise sauce. The flavors were spot on — rich, buttery, and balanced. The side of fresh orange slices was a nice refreshing touch. We also ordered an omelet with a side biscuit and jam, and it was just as amazing. The omelet was fluffy and flavorful, with melted cheese and diced tomatoes adding a perfect texture. The biscuit was golden, soft, and flaky — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere!
I have only tried a latte, a chocolate chip cookies and a pecan sticky bun so can't fully review the place yet. What I got was ok. I would never suggest it to someone else really. The sit down breakfast menu looks promising so I can't wait to try that. Overall this place is probably pretty good. I will update later when I try more
This was a quite a gem of a bakery! The service was wonderful, the decor is charming, it’s much larger inside than it seems from outside, the coffee was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. We were treated to breakfast here by family, but my husband and I will absolutely be back. The espresso pie is heavenly.
