Yep! There’s a reason why this place was featured on Ant’s BBQ Story. The story is great, the service is great and of course the food is excellent. I’m from out of state and have missed an opening to stop be the last few times I’ve come through the area so, it was a priority today. The smell of hickory slaps your nostrils as you pull in parking lot. A team member tells you to set where you like and the rest ideal. I’m not a big fan of hickory smoke flavor, but Charles has made a fan out of me. I was in a carnivore mood and went for the Small Sampler. The simplicity of the spices and time on the brisket was spot on. The pulled pork was what it should be, but don’t sleep on the sausage. Lord that was an unexpected burst of flavor. From the smoke, to cheese and jalapeño. Dang! I honestly wasn’t there to judge the sides however, the slaw and beans were solid. I want to come back and try on entree. I overheard a handful folks around me mentioning the burger and redneck tacos. Keep up the excellent work team!

Really wanted this place to be our new BBQ favorite since we just moved to Murfreesboro. Sorry to say our first and last visit. The serve was very nice and attentive. The food was really subpar. Green beans were right from the can and barely heated up. Half chicken was not smoked today…..dry and been around while. Fried pickles seemed to be frozen breaded from Sysco and not freshly battered. Burnt end bologna was simply chunks of bologna covered in sauce. Side salad was good. Jim & Nicks, Edley’s, or Mission are twice the quality and all 3 cost less per meal.

My family and I ate here after a day of shopping. It did not disappoint! Try the fried pickles - dill flavor mixed well with the dipping sauce. Pair the meats with the homemade bbq sauces to elevate the flavor. The pork loaded fries are perfection: portion, tenderness and flavor were on point. The pulled pork sandwich was the most tender my mom has ever had. The baked beans had great flavor with a touch of spice. The pulled chicken sandwich was tender and not greasy. *only feedback would be to add more seasoning to the coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Overall, a pleasant experience with attentive staff and quick service. Would definitely recommend and will return!

I'm so glad I spotted this place this afternoon. The pulled pork here is simply amazing, tender, well flavored and even the woodsmoke scent enveloping the entry is an experience itself. I had the Loaded Fries and although they "falsely advertised" (lol) curly fries as being the base the shoestring fries were just as good, if not a better, substitute. The story behind this establishment is a heartfelt one and the service was better than most small BBQ joints, with a highly communicative waitress Only thing I could even muster up to be a downside was the prominent screen is playing football, which personally, is the dumbest form of entertainment imaginable and also highly popular with most people but there are multiple screens and more than that option available to stare at whilst chowing down on deliciously made BBQ.

Stopped here on our way back to Nashville from the Jack Daniels Distillery. We tried the Sliced Prime Brisket plate and it was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. So flavorful and perfectly prepared. The potato salad side was also excellent. Treated us like family, which was the icing on the cake.
