Sip on Grand

Absolutely the best spot for wine in New Port Richey. There’s a secret speak easy for those in the know, but even first time guests can catch the next level charcuterie board! Melissa always makes sure our party’s experience is better than we can expect.

I took my wife to Sip the other night. One employee was tending. He did not greet us, or hand us menus. Did not acknowledge us in any way. He was helping another customer, so we grabbed a menu, but it turned out to be a flyer for a pschic. We took actual menus and sat ourselves. Another patron came in a got service. The employee then took a cell phone call that lasted at least 10 minutes and was not in the bar. When he returned, he came up to us and asked if 'we knew what we wanted'. No greeting, no introduction, no pleasantries. No apology for our experience, the wait. We walked out, went a few feet down the street to Zen, and had a superior time.

This is absolutely, hands down, my favorite little wine place. From the wine selections to the charcuterie and dessert options, I always find something good to "sip" and nibble on. The best part is the community I have found and built from becoming a regular at this establishment. 10/10 will recommend stopping by here for a visit and becoming a regular yourself!

So just in case you aren’t familiar with a speakeasy, SIP is a little hard to find on purpose. When you DO find it, I believe you will be absolutely delighted at this amazing little Gem! Nope, no Jimmy Buffet here, no thumping Music, just a friendly wine/coffee/craft beer 30’s plus Adult bar with low lights, old movies playing in the back on a large screen, really cool art, and Hosts that will make you not only feel comfortable but enjoy making new friends. Micheal was our host and he was beyond helpful! We sat in our plush rocking swivel lounge chairs and were looking right at an old antique hat hanging chair when the whole wall opened up and a speakeasy side room for special parties revealed itself. Ridiculously cool!! Very easy to chill….

Went for the first time on Friday, boy was I not disappointed. The establishment is very charming and the workers are very attentive without being smothering. Yummy charcuterie boards and other light eats. Overall loved the place and most definitely look forward to returning.
