(from Google)We chose this spot as a place to go before we went to the theater in NPR. I ordered a hot honey flat bread and a side of asparagus. This is what I was served. Please understand this was BEFORE I even touched it. THIS is what I paid for. When I made a comment to the server about the 3 stalks of asparagus she said "sorry." The flatbread was soggy in the middle and luke warm. My friend got pot roast it was cold, it looked like it came from a can and was a small serving size for the price. Not a good spot for food, maybe the drinks are strong, not sure I had water. I WAS able to finish the side of asparagus though, tough but I managed. * (they have no knives on the table just forks.) The server said the "new people keep throwing the knives away" so now you have to ask for one.
Our first time to The Social and definitely won't be our last! We loved the atmosphere and our server was awesome and so nice. My husband got the Korean steak tacos and I got Mac n cheese with pulled pork on top. Very delicious and the drinks were made well and also delicious. Can't wait to come back.
We stopped at this place in the New Port Richey downtown area and overall had a really good time. The whole area itself is very pretty, clean, and well put together, which already sets a nice tone before you even walk in. We headed straight to the rooftop, and that was definitely the highlight. The atmosphere up there is really cool. Even though we went on a Sunday and it was more calm and quiet, you could tell this place has a great energy, especially with live music on other nights. Nice breeze, good music, and a very relaxed vibe. The staff was super friendly and easygoing right from the start. Very accommodating and just pleasant to deal with, which always makes a difference. The drinks were good, more of a solid pub style. Nothing over the top or “wow,” but definitely enjoyable and well made. The food was okay. We ordered a few appetizers to try different things, and while nothing stood out as amazing, everything was decent and edible. Not bad, just not the highlight of the experience. Overall, I would give this place a solid 4 out of 5. The rooftop, the vibe, and the service really carry the experience. I would definitely go back and give the full menu another try. It is a great spot to hang out, especially if you are in the area.
Loved my Tropical 🍹 Storm drink and the Caprese with Fried Green Tomatoes was wonderful!! 😊 Definitely highly recommend!! 🍀 Great atmosphere!!!😊 PS One note, the chicken was pretty tough/dry. Please work on (and could use more toppings - the tomatoes, avocado 🥑, etc).🌈🌈
Horrible Experience — Very Disappointing The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately the service and overall experience were not. We had to ask multiple times for napkins and our drinks, and eventually I had to get up and grab them myself. The food was okay for the most part, but my order was incorrect. I specifically asked for no mashed potatoes, yet they were still placed on top of my chicken (not on my plate), and I replaced the madh with onion rings. When I mentioned this to the waitress, I didn’t receive any response or attempt to fix it. My friend’s carrots were also burnt. We understand that some were purple carrots, but the orange ones had black spots all over them. When I asked about it, the waitress became rude and insisted they were “tricolored carrots” that were supposed to look that way, which did not seem accurate. My friend ended up not eating them at all out of concern. We came here hoping to enjoy a kid-free lunch and some quality girl time, but unfortunately left wishing we had chosen a better place. Very disappointing experience.
