(from Google)I had a great Mother’s Day fish taco dinner with my sister but the place is now closed, looks like for good, which is a bummer. I would have eaten there again.
Oh man, wanted to so badly to love this place but just couldn’t. The bartender was the best thing about the place. But she was our server and bartender. Unfortunately there was live music, I’m a fan of live music but the place is so small, and the music so loud I couldn’t even hear myself. Table was uneven and weirdly placed. The food was not good. 15$ for a burger and fries and the burger came out well done about 1/6 lb. The fish tacos were almost all salad in a shell. Unfortunate because the place itself is cute and the service was good, just need to up the food substantially and change out the decorations to the new name.
We visited Nauti Oar about 6+ months ago (around October), and at that time, everything was amazing. The service was impeccable, the oysters were prepared perfectly—fresh, flavorful, and well-executed—and overall, the food quality matched the experience. We spent well over $100 and felt it was absolutely worth it. Unfortunately, after returning recently under new ownership, the experience was completely different. The restaurant was nearly empty, and they were out of several key items. For example, there was no spinach available for the Oyster Rockefeller, and no tortilla chips for the ceviche—they substituted soft tortillas instead. The flavor across the dishes was noticeably lacking compared to our first visit. Even the oysters were not prepared correctly this time—shrimp was placed on top rather than being properly incorporated during preparation, which affected both texture and taste. I will say the waitress did a great job and was attentive, but the overall food quality and execution have declined significantly. As a business owner myself, I understand how important reviews are and how operations can shift during transitions—but it’s clear that something is missing right now. The consistency, attention to detail, and care that was once there just isn’t being reflected anymore. Based on our recent experience, we won’t be returning and will be looking for another local spot. I truly hope the owners take the feedback from multiple reviews seriously and work toward improving the quality and overall experience.
Love this place, great food, front and back patios to take your dog with you! I got the teriyaki chicken bowl, came in a pineapple with rice, chicken was tender and the sauce was really good. Husband got the super bowl, salad with black beans rice and chicken. He liked it.
Quaint! A nice little local watering hole and grill. The music was a bit loud, but we made our way through it. The bartender and sever were both on their game and we wanted for nothing. Drinks were consistent and not over poured. Food was hot with good portions. Appetizers needed a bit more chips, but over all good. Our meals where quit pleasing to the eye, but lacked the freshness of a restaurant on the water. Frozen and cook here you go. I would just keep it simple, a nice atmosphere and full belly. The food has a long way to go. Give it shot and you decide if it's the place for you. I am sure we will go again.
