Whiskey River On The Water

Pleasant live music. Loved being able to look over the rail at our table and seeing marine life below. Unexpected treat! Food was great. Service was friendly and attentive but not intrusively so. We kayak down there from upriver on the Cotee and load our vehicle up before heading to eat. The boat ramp is across the river less than 1 mile door to door. (They actually have a dock at the restaurant but it’s not ideal for relatively novice kayakers.)

Again we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and amazing service from the bartender, Searra! This place is without a doubt one of the best in the area. Consistently great food, service and a beautiful water view! The prices are fair and the portions are generous, IMO. I had the ahi tuna appetizer and I like my ahi tuna cooked, which is always perfect for me. The ahi tuna salad is huge and the grouper tacos are delicious! Great menu choices and HH drinks too! The blackened Seafood Platter way the best we had since vacationing in Hudsin Florida. The Banana Bucket was delicious. Candice gave us 5+ stars for service. She took time to answer our questions about the menu, served our food with care but the bonus was her warm happy personality. You could truly tell that her job is not just a server... it's her job to ensure you get a friendly and wonderful meal.

Nice family night out. The deck seating was wonderful. Service was timely and friendly. Plenty of options for food as well as beer and cocktails. We would definitely return if in the area.

A beautiful place on the river for a great bite to eat and excellent cocktails and beer. My boyfriend got a burger with a fried egg on top that he said was one of the best he's had in a long time! I got the fish and chips which were excellent! The Bloody Mary was delicious and well made and our server was very polite and professional. Definitely highly recommend this place!
