Omg the best chicken on a chicken and waffle dish my partner and I have ever gotten. We’ve been on a chicken and waffle kick and have been determined to try all the places that offer it out here in Portland. We love the service and would come back just for the chicken. The waffles were perfect! The waffles had an amazing airy crispy texture. I can’t wait to come back here and try something different. Our waitress who was also the bartender was phenomenal. Great conversationalist and always checking on us. Highly recommend this hole in the wall. Only downside is trying to find available parking. 🅿️ UPDATE 5/23/26: Went back recently and their waffles had changed completely and were burnt a few times. Staff were great about it, but unfortunately no longer worth the drive to me. Also if you are looking for traditional white mashed potatoes I wouldn’t order them, they make them with red potatoes and green onion. Just not my personal preference. Added some photos of the new waffles, they do however give you two instead of one now, but they aren’t nearly as good.

Omg its been awhile since we’ve had a meal that was so good from start to finish. Everything was amazing and cooked so well. And great value for money too! Highly recommend the onion rings and chicken and waffles

Awesome little spot in goose hollow. Wouldn't quite call it an Irish Pub, but its reaaal close. Great food in my experience, with friendly bartenders and a cozy vibe. Actually the best shepards pie ive had, and it was almost enough to feed 2!

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. The service and atmosphere of the Leaky Roof was spectacular... my server McKenna was amazing, and taking care of everyone. I ordered the dry cider with a bowl of the stew and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend stopping in either for drinks or food.
