Wonderful place with amazing food and vibes! We had such a great experience at Sandbar Bills Bar and Grille. I had the Teriyaki & Pineapple Chicken Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious — the sweet pineapple and teriyaki flavor worked perfectly together. My significant other had the Buffalo Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which was also fantastic. We both had the potato salad, and it was delicious as well. The atmosphere and vibe were amazing — relaxed, fun, and exactly what you want from a great bar and grille. Everything about our visit was enjoyable, from the food to the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

We parked in the hotel parking lot, checked in w/ person in lobby to be sure we wouldn’t get towed since we weren’t staying there. We ordered a couple beers and a zero proof Negroni like cocktail, quite refreshing. The service was excellent, quickly ordered food as well. The burgers were chargrilled, flavorful w/ a toasted soft bun so every bite was consistent. Check the view, nice for an inexpensive date night.

You must get the chicken fajita kabobs! They are huge and come with all the fixins. The bartenders are great. Sara gave me a good chilled red wine. You can Not get a better view of the water.

An unexpected gem and a must stop on your way through! It is even worth the drive if it is out of your way, just for the view, ambiance and quality of food! I wish more hotels cared this much about the quality of food that they serve! Many restaurants don’t even put out food this delicious! Food: The best burger and chicken we have eaten out in recent memory! The chicken kebab was enormous and could be easily shared by two people. The flavor was excellent and the sides all plentiful. The cheeseburger had a slice of cheese across the top you could measure with a caliper! Fresh meat, juicy and delicious! The salad was plentiful and so big you almost needed a separate plate to put some on in order to dig in, very sizable portion. Had a group of adults and teens and no one struggled to find something on the menu and everyone was pleased with their selection! Not much of a wait at the counter to order, and the food came out quickly! Drink refills were not a problem! The only downside which isn’t really a downside, if you are trying to eat healthy, is they must not have a deep fryer in their kitchen, no french fries or sides with the burger. Service & Atmosphere: Was an unexpected surprise, definitely remaining on our list visit after picking visitors up from TPA! What a cute boutique, hotel and patio area. It was June when we visited later in the afternoon so definitely on the warm side but an ocean breeze and shade umbrellas made it tolerable. Steps away to get your feet in the sand! Only unknown was where to park when patronizing The Sandbar only, all the signs in the parking lot say hotel guest only and all the parking across the street is patron only for those businesses… it is great to see an old hotel with lots of stories to tell that has been reinvested into and kept up! You can tell they’ve definitely put a lot of work into it since the last string of storms that came through. A beautiful place to sit and enjoy a drink, an appetizer or a meal with friends! We will definitely be returning!!!
