They have vegan dessert options! The chocolate birthday cake was delicious. I really enjoy the coffee there too, it is always well-made. The atmosphere is super nice especially with the garage doors that they keep open.

I can’t say enough good things about Southern Grounds! From the food to the service everything was top notch! Cole specifically elevated our experience with his bubbly and uplifting personality, I didn’t know it was possible to be that happy and energetic before 12 pm but Cole definitely was! I’m also a breakfast burrito connoisseur and boy did theirs blow me away! The dirty chai latte was also to die for! I can keep going about how much I love this place but you get the gist, go spend your money at southern grounds!

If you’re coffee shop shopping, your shopping is over….you’ve found the best in St. Pete. Southern Grounds & Co. is officially my new go-to for properly brewed coffee. I experienced this gem for the first time this morning, and wow… their catered coffee was better than some pour-overs I’ve had at fancy cafés. I’m not kidding. I’m a total coffee snob, and it was THAT good. And if you’re a business looking for top-shelf catering, look no further. If the quality of their catered coffee is any indication of the care they put into everything they do, you’re in great hands. I’m also a breakfast person, and their bagel, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what a breakfast sandwich should be. Great coffee, great food, and a local business worth supporting. Stop reading and just go. Trust me. 🙂

First visit to Southern Grounds & Co. for a late breakfast, and it was a great experience. There was a good crowd when we arrived, but we were able to order right away and easily find a table. We ordered the lox bagel, a 3-egg omelette (not pictured), and lavender honey iced lattes. The lavender honey latte was excellent—the lavender flavor was pleasant and perfectly balanced without being overpowering. The lox bagel was delicious, and you could tell everything was made fresh to order. Overall, the food, coffee, and atmosphere made for a very enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back again.

What a great addition to downtown St. Pete! This new coffee shop has such a welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated—comfortable, stylish, and the kind of place you actually want to hang out in for a while. I was really impressed with the menu too. They offer a great variety of healthy food options along with an excellent selection of coffees and teas, so there’s something for everyone. The staff truly stood out—friendly, engaging, and they made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend checking this spot out!
