The Joint St. Pete

Saw this place amd the rating online. It didn't disappoint!! Walked in an waiting maybe 5 minutes for a table around 6pm. Busy place. Everything we had was awesome. Buffalo shrimp are a must for appetizers. Daughter's Philly cheesesteak Ihad a bite of was probably one of the best I've had in some time. Waitress was so nice and we were treated like locals while on vacation.

The Joint is a neighborhood home in the wall filled with locals that is half bar, half restaurant. It’s LOUD. So loud that sometimes it’s hard to have a conversation… but the food keeps us coming back! It’s wonderful, the servings are generous and the daily specials and pricing is very fair. Our orders: My husband enjoys the shrimp, meatloaf, fried pot roast, cheesesteak egg rolls, tots, fried green tomato’s, burgers and sandwiches as well as the Ice Pick Lemonades. I usually get the fried Cauliflower bites with spicy sweet sauce, scallions and sesame seeds. They heat up well the next day in the air fryer if you have any leftovers. As a vegetarian, I also enjoy the mashed potato’s (no brown gravy), the seasoned broccoli, the garlic bread and the salads. Many sandwiches and salads can be made vegetarian friendly with the omission of meat and my husband is usually very eager to have it put on the side so he can eat it. Pack your patience because the seating is tight, the parking is extremely limited, the service is spotty and the place is very LOUD… especially around the bar and on weekends.

First time checking out The Joint in St Pete and it was a great experience!! All staff were very friendly and hospitable our entire time while we were there!! Atmosphere was cool with plenty of games on the televisions, along with cool decor throughout the bar/restaurant!! Ordered the Honey Teriyaki CauliflowerBites as an appetizer which was excellent!!! Ordered a couple of their burgers which were served quickly and they were huge!! Flavor for everything was amazing!!! Look forward to stopping in again to try more items on their menu. They have an interesting selection of menu items from appetizers to burgers, entrees and more!! Also a full bar as well!! Shout out to the kitchen staff for doing an awesome job on all the food we ordered!!

What a great dive bar with great FOOD, STAFF & PRICES. I couldn't go to a fast food restaurant for $10 & eat like this... Shrimp stir fry with rice and mixed vegetables. When my order came, other patrons asked is that the stir fry, it smells so good. My reply it tastes even better. They quickly ordered it. Pop in and give them a try😋

This place is close to the house and we finally decided to go in and check it out, Kind of mad at myself that I’m just getting here. Everything we ordered was delicious and hot. Staff was extremely friendly. We will be back.
