Corner Bar SoHo

Happened upon the corner bar and glad we did. Emily was our bartender and provided exceptional service. We split the garlic parm wings and fries; hot fresh, and flavorful. Fans kept us as cool as you can be for summer in Fla. will definitely be back. Thanks Emily!

We got seated around 8:30 outside on the porch. We waited for 10 mins while picking our seat and were told we could sit anywhere. We got comfy and a man with the biggest grin came up to us and told us children arnt allowed past 8. lol. Weirdest experience, why the smile like you’re going to deliver good news? We were there for the soccer game and it felt really odd that an outdoor space had an issue with a quiet teenager. We went to a spot down the street that was great.

It's sad, this was a nice place, unfortunately the service has greatly declined, unless you are friends with the staff. Management seems to not understand that a bar falls under the service industry and insists on treating people like dollar signs and as soon as they decide it's time for you to leave they treat you like dirt.

Great service and fun atmosphere! They had good specials on Sunday too $5 absolute mixed drinks and specials on green tea shots

Significantly better than the horrible World of Beer that was there prior. For those who care, it's still just a Howard Ave bar but the food is good and service is great. Many friendly, attentive people behind the bar. Good rotation of DJs on Friday and Saturday nights. Dog friendly (our dog loves the people watching and pets) and you can relax with a cigar outside. Kudos again to the staff; they make that place what it is.
