(from Google)I can’t believe I waited so long to try Florida Cracker Fish Company! I’ve driven past this place so many times and finally decided to stop in, and I’m so glad I did. I started with the raw oysters, and they were fresh, cold, and delicious. For my meal, I ordered the fried catfish with French fries and cornbread. They gave me three huge catfish fillets, and everything was cooked perfectly. The fish was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, the fries were great, and the cornbread was the perfect side. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. It has that laid-back, old Florida fish camp vibe—almost like you’re eating at a dockside seafood market on the coast. You order your food at the counter, grab your drinks from the bar, then find a seat while they bring your food to you. There are plenty of picnic tables, a full bar, an outdoor seating area, and even a playground for kids, making it a great spot for families or just hanging out with friends. My meal was around $30, and for six raw oysters, three large catfish fillets, fries, and cornbread, I thought it was an excellent value. Great food, fun atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. If you’ve been driving by wondering if it’s worth stopping… do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it.
The food, the staff, the location, the decor, the vibe...the everything; perfection 👌 This place is absolutely on point! We had the blue crab dip; perfection. We had the chicken tenders with fries; perfection. We had the blackened fish reuben; perfection. The jalapeño cornbread was epic. The coleslaw was precisely made, how it should be made. The fries were cooked and season as good as it gets. Homerun. Kudos to staff, management and owners. You have a winner 🏆
We dined here on a Friday evening and sat outdoors listening to the live music. The food is absolutely delicious! We love their fried catfish, and they had tile fish as one of the market catch fishes as well as grouper and we had an order of tilefish grilled. It was delicious! The collard greens and corn bread are super tasty - no bland collard greens here - although they did taste a bit sweet for my liking, but they were tasty. I added pepper vinegar to offset the sweetness. The sweet tea is delicious and the beer and bourbon assortment outstanding. Their bartenders are super friendly. Just be patient! It takes time to make those special bourbon concoctions they make. The nutty professor is my favorite. They also have non-alcoholic beers - a couple of them- which is awesome in my opinion! Great food, great service (you order at the counter but they bring it to the table) and great music on Fridays’
This place is great! Ordered a bunch of food and some appetizers. The po boy with fried fish was awesome as was the rest of the food. Also got smoked fish dip with pita chips and fried green tomatoes. Ordered a fried fish sandwich entree too. Hush puppies came out with one of the entrees. Might have ordered that as an appetizer. Can’t remember Very friendly wait staff and good vibes. Place isn’t “expensive” but we did crush a hundo with two drinks, two entrees, and two appetizers. Good portions though, we ended up taking some home!
I Love this place! The food was good quality and priced right. We were seated by pleasant young fellow named Cody and though there is no table service, he attended to our needs. There was live music and the whole place was popping! I will definitely go back again.
