Tom's Tavern (Forest Hills)

Food was awful. The oil must have been old and gave the food a gross after taste. Ordered the tacos and the ground beef also tasted bad...no seasoning.

This place was good at one time. We would go for the fried mushrooms. Today they were terrible. The tacos were not good. Ground beef with no taco seasoning. The had a strange smell like a dirty grill. We are one and that was enough. I don't think we will go back. I have a strange aftertaste in my mouth. Even the Dr. Pepper mixture was off.

First time at Tom’s Tavern…Marci working the bar & tables was amazing! So personal and friendly. Chef Chris made the food and it was fresh and hot! It was so nice to relax, enjoy the atmosphere the music, the entertainment. Seems like everybody in the bar, kind of know each other and they were all hanging out. It was really nice to see that. I will definitely be back.!

Still on the fence.. I miss Uncle Fatz. Tom's tavern is similar but the taste is different. I feel like I'm not the only one because the place was empty tonight and only one waitress. She's a great waitress but still stretched thin. Buffalo chicken tenders were great, they charge $2 extra on your wings if you order all flaps or all legs, but srill for two people, two dinners, 2 beers and a rum runner, around 50$, which is not bad. I hope they continue to improve. Even the Bleu cheese tastes more like Fatz had, not what to s started with which was more like the normal Ken's flavor.

The food was decent for what you would expect. Overall it was a bit too pricey In my opinion. I got mango habanero wings 🥭🌶️ And they were a little too sweet. I also tried the loaded Cajun fries and they were all right for the first couple bites and then kind of got sick of it. I will say the service was phenomenal. She was on top of refilling my water and the atmosphere was nice. And the whole place is pretty clean.
