Tarpon Tavern

Visiting family from ohio and man, I must say, this is probably one of the best restaurants I've had from my many trips to Florida. The food has great pricing and amazing tastes! Between our 5 members, we got the mozzarella planks as an app, smash burger with fries (the fries are a MUST try), four-play with hot tenders and hot wings (great flavor), sliders, blackened chicken Alfredo, chicken Ceasar wrap, and side salad. Aside from the great food, the music is fantastic. Our server Jeremiah was awesome! Made sure our drinks stayed filled and checked on us often. Bottom line, COME HERE!

Went on a Saturday, stopping to have lunch within the middle of our bike ride. This wasn't my first visit and each time has been very relaxing and good. We sat outside.

Tarpon Tavern has such good food and service is always top notch! We love when the weather is nice to sit outside. We started eating before I remembered to take the pictures! We had the smash burger and fries and the Mediterranean Bowl. They have a nice variety of options. When you're in downtown Tarpon, stop by and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Overall average. Got the Asian chicken bowl and the the Seminol Chicken Pita. The twisty fries were the best part, and we spend ~$33 and change on 2 meals before tip. The Seminole fell just flat on the flavor, or i would have enjoyed this place a little more. A lively, a little noisy place. Good to gather with a friend or 2, watch a game, or grab a drink.

Really great place. Little slow service today but this is the tenth time I’ve been here and the only time with slow service. Food is good, service is normally great, and prices aren’t bad. It’s right on side of the trail and great for a bike stop. I got huervos rancheros and French toast. Excellent. Good place and will be back.
