(from Google)This location is no longer water access. It has two picnic tables, a sharps container for fishing, and a few spots where you could cast into the water. Not much for anything else,tbh
Nice place to calmly observe planes landing and taking-off from AVL. Watch your families plane land, then drive over to pick them up.
This is not really a park with river access... you just have to go under the bridge to get in the river. I suggest to use a different park for kayak put in or take out.
Seems like this place must have been washed up by the river, there was no real place to pull our kayaks out. Easy to find, a lot of parking.
