this park has a great trail and a super fun playground however i don't recommend going at night me and my home slice preston and gavin did and there were lots of strange activities in cars.

I absolutely love this trail! It's all paved but immersed in nature: many different birds, wildflowers, frogs, butterflies, trees. The trailhead is right at the entrance near the way too small parking lot. It is not marked. I parked at the playground because I didn't know where the trailhead was. Overall, I walked about 2.5 miles in a loop. I only saw one bench and trash can but could've missed more. The paved trail is in mostly good condition, but there are a few deep cracks (causing a mild ankle twist), so just watch your footing. Such a beautiful walk! Can't wait to go back!

4.5 stars! Would be a full 5 if there were restrooms of some kind. Nice green space with a great paved trail, 2 playground areas, and a cool climbing part. We love playing here!

A fantastic park to get out and enjoy nature North of the river in Kansas City. This park has a two mile -ish waking trail. It's paved and well maintained. There are benches periodically along the route. There's also a kids playground in the middle. The playground is fun for all ages and has multiple things to do. The climbing ropes and climbing rocks are some of my kids favorites.

Lovely place to take your doggos for a walk. There are no restrooms or drinking fountains along the trail so be sure to plan ahead. Benches can be found every quarter mile or so. I recommend checking this park out during fall when the colors of the leaves are changing 🍃🍁 The entire track is a 2.2 mile loop so you will end up where you began eventually. A playground is in the middle of the park.
