My daughter & I went into PetSmart to get a jumping spider a couple days ago in Anderson. Karen helped us through the whole process and answered any questions I had. Super friendly & helpful! It can be difficult getting good customer service in this day & age. Karen was great!!! 😊

Im giving 3 stars, because I still buy certain product here, that is sometimes cheaper, but its also risky. Their animals, are a 50/50. That is a promise. I've purchased numerous fish that have not only died, but some of them passed the quarantine period (sick with other diseases that last much longer) and contaminated my other tanks and fish on occasion, which has cost me hundreds if not into thousands it vet expenses. I take super care of my salt water tanks. Their puffers are a no from here on out, 4 of 4 sick and dead. I've bought other things such as parakeets and even a cocateil (like a $400 bird) that both somehow??? Lasted only 15 days.... do you know how odd that is? Its exactly 1 day passed the warranty. In most cases they may have even died at 10pm on the final warranty day, but since petsmart is closed, they say its been 15 days when you walk back in at opening, as their very first customer. Waiting outside 20 minutes before they open. They refused refunds, discounts, or any kind of even compassion for the inconvenience. Their groomers are overpriced and half the time underpaid and undertrained teens (18, 19) they've numerous times cut the nails to the wick and caused a pretty decent bleeding on one occasion. I will never have anyone but myself groom my pet now. Which is why im super disappointed pet supplies plus is now closed and the nearest one 30 minutes away. 1 example of overpricing is their "pet" ceramic bulbs as if theyre fancy and pet only. Theyre like $34.99 but the exact same one for "chickens" at lowes is only $14.99.

I brought my girlfriend’s dog in for grooming and had one of the most uncomfortable customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The groomer, Bre, was extremely rude from the start and made me feel unwelcome and uneasy for simply being there to get my dog groomed. Throughout the interaction, she constantly bad-mouthed other employees, making very unprofessional and disrespectful comments about her coworkers right in front of customers. It was incredibly awkward and honestly alarming to hear someone openly trash their own team while representing a business. Bre came across as someone who believes she is above everyone else, like the rules don’t apply to her and that if she wants something, she deserves it more than anyone else. The attitude was entitled, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone working with customers and animals. This wasn’t just “having a bad day.” It felt like a pattern of rude, arrogant behavior with zero concern for professionalism or customer comfort. Grooming a pet should feel safe and welcoming — instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. PetSmart seriously needs to address this. No one be allowed to treat coworkers this way, and no employee should feel comfortable speaking so poorly about coworkers in front of paying customers

Employees were super nice from the lady who helped with the fish for our pond to the guy at the register. Pricey for sure but have monthly deals and more deals for members. Such cute kitty's to adopt unfortunately I'm allergic. Also look at these adorable croc like boots for puppers!
