Our pup LOVES Ms. Brittany and her friends at Southpaw Spa. They do an amazing job and it’s such a peace of mind that we know they love our dog as much as we do. He always comes home looking adorable and as happy as ever. I highly recommend Southpaw Spa to others!

🪐 CAPTAIN’S LOG — Stardate 260523 We have officially confirmed it: Hope and Brittney are the greatest dog groomers in Clearwater, in Florida, and possibly in the known universe. If there were a national holiday named after Hope, it still wouldn’t be enough. And Brittney? She deserves her own parade. Our Shih Tzu, Maximus Reximus, is a handful — and that’s putting it politely. He is adorable, stubborn, dramatic, bath‑resistant, haircut‑resistant, and capable of going full gremlin mode the moment he senses grooming equipment. At home, our options are: • ✂️ Scissors — dangerous • 🌀 $120 vacuum grooming kit — dangerous (Max says “absolutely not”) • 🪒 A back shaver — dangerous (works for Ken, not for Max) Every attempt ends in unnecessary stress on our little buddy, barking, and the very real possibility of losing a finger. Yet Hope and Brittney handle him like seasoned dog‑whisperer superheroes. They don’t just groom him — they transform him. They turn our wild, scruffy, bath‑hating Max into a clean, calm, dapper gentleman who looks like he’s ready for a magazine cover. Their patience, skill, and kindness are unmatched.

Brittany did such an amazing job grooming Churro! You can really tell she cares about the dogs she works with and takes her time to make sure everything is done right. Churro came back looking adorable, clean, and happy, which means a lot to me as a dog parent. The whole experience was stress free. I highly recommend checking them out!

Southpaw Spa has a new owner groomer & we are thrilled she is here!!! The new owner, Hope, has been grooming our two mini schnauzers in St Pete for a while now. We chose not to go the traditional schnauzer hair cut with our pups and while Hope can do a great traditional cut she listened & did exactly what we requested. The dogs love her & they come out just the way we like every time she grooms them! We just moved from St Pete to Safety Harbor and we would have drove them anywhere to keep Hope as their groomer! We are so thrilled that she is now the owner of Southpaw Spa in Clearwater & she is so close to us now! I can’t say enough great things about Hope. I think you’ll be happy if you give her a try🤗
