Pierre's Pet Grooming - WESTLAKE

I have been a regular client of Pierre's Pet Grooming in Westlake, as my mother frequently takes our 10-year-old Shih Tzu, Kody, there for grooming. Unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in their service quality recently. During our last visit, Kody's haircut was done incorrectly, and he was also nipped, which was quite upsetting. Rosa, who I spoke to about the issue, assured us of a complimentary spa day as compensation for the inconvenience. On our next visit, I confirmed the arrangement for a free haircut instead of the spa day, and Rosa agreed. However, when I returned to pick up Kody, she informed me that I owed $64. Despite reminding her of our prior agreement due to their error and the distress caused to Kody, she insisted on the charge. When I explained that Kody was traumatized by the nipping, she dismissively stated that a dog couldn't be traumatized. The situation escalated as Rosa began to insult me and used profanity towards my mother, telling her to leave in an aggressive manner. This behavior was witnessed by the groomer present at the time. Due to my mother’s knee pain, she couldn’t stay to address the issue further. I cannot recommend Pierre's Pet Grooming to anyone based on this experience. The lack of respect towards customers and potential mistreatment of animals are concerning. It is disheartening to see such behavior from a place we once trusted with Kody's care.

Chloe had never been groomed and she’s a 4 yr old Doberman mix. We got her back within a couple hours and she was so excited and soft and beautiful!!! Great job!

We have been going here for some years. Not sure if there have been changes in management but, over the past 6 months their quality has significantly gone down. I picked up my dog earlier this week and was extremely disappointed to see he was cut at different lengths all over his body, his face was still dirty and has skin showing in some areas.

My dog had a 10am "appointment"; dropped off at 9:50 and was told he would be ready in 3-4 hours (at the latest). They didn't start grooming until almost 3pm. After my dog waited 5 hours to be groomed, they didn't give him the teddy bear haircut like I requested. He's still a cute dog, but I won't be returning. Prices are comparable to Petsmart for small dogs.
