PetSmart Grooming

All I can say is, JUST DON'T. My experience and first impression was HORRIBLE! Following PetSmart's recommendation to take my puppy to the salon several days prior to his first grooming so that he could get used to the activity, smells and sounds of the salon; I was met with unprofessionalism and honestly just a sincere lack of customer service from BRYNN. I explained to BRYNN, at the grooming salon, why I was there and she told me that she didn't know anything about a pet visit, they were busy and didn't have time for that. She was very lackadaisical and it was clear that she did not want to help. I explained to her that it was on their website and that I had driven to them, which was not a short drive, based on what was recommended on their website. I would not have minded waiting until they were not as busy, but that was not even presented as an option. It was just, NO. Long story short; still speaking with BRYNN, I asked if I could speak with the manager...I was told that the salon manager was not there that day. I asked if there was a store manager...I was told that the store manager was not there either. Come to find out that the store manager was indeed there after inquiring further; why was there a need to lie?? The store manager was helpful, I didn't get her name. She took my puppy back into the salon, which took all of 5 to 7 minutes, and came back offering great advice for his first visit. She told me what made him nervous while he was in the salon and gave me some tips to mimic the sounds and feelings of the equipment at home prior to his arrival. HOWEVER, I decided to cancel the appointment and to take my puppy elsewhere. Dealing with BRYNN, who is one of the groomers by the way, I've decided that I am just not comfortable leaving my puppy in PetSmart's salons care.

I had an appointment & the employees were very rude.
