Animal Care Veterinary Hospital

We found this vet through trying to get veterinary care for our chinchilla. We had such a wonderful experience that we decided to change vets for our other animals when we needed a second opinion for our dachshund with Cushings. I LOVE this vet. The staff is absolutely wonderful. All their doctors are great, but we love Dr. Todd! The whole front office, tech, and nursing staff are awesome (there hasn't been a person we didn't like). Their services are slightly more expensive than Premier Vetcare in Smyrna (as of 2025), but it's SO worth it. We've never had to wait to see the doctor when we've had an appointment. They don't pressure and give lots of options. Their text messaging service is 10/10 (I don't know why all vets don't have this). I recommend this place to everyone with pets. I really wouldn't trust anyone else with surgery or animal care now that I've seen how high the bar can be.

All the personnel that we have met here are very warm and welcoming. This time it was a grooming visit for new puppy. Puppy is very active and nips a lot. I was concerned they might not have been able to handle her but they did. We have boarded other dog here a lot and we are very satisfied with that area too (and we had used others). I would definitely recommend Animal Care for all your pet needs.

Our dog loves Animal Care Veterinary! The care he has received has felt like family care. Benson's humans feel confident he is getting the attention and care he needs with no pushy sales tactics. Every staff member is friendly and attentive. The staff all the way from the doc to the front office staff seems like they are happy to be at work and that they truly enjoy their job. I love this place! The staff always welcomes us and I love the large foyer. My puppy is always a bit nervous but they handle her very well! I love our doctors and nurses; they always answer all my questions and the communication is top-notch. The emails and reminders are so helpful. I also love the ease of ordering meds and scheduling. Great place and I highly recommend!
