(from Google)Staff is extremely disengaged and unprofessional , I took my sphynx cat to this place because she was doing her needs on herself and not eating, meowing in pain, we had some financial issues because we had just recently moved, but we managed to get some of the money, they wanted us to pay an extra $260 for “professional services” she explained that it’s so that if they need any extra medication they can pull the funds from there, which I though was completely unnecessary because they can just call it the pets need anything else, they suggested to a family member of mine to adopt my cat because of our financial limitations , but in the same call suggested she was to sick and even with all the treatment she wouldn't make it, so which is it? Or did she want to keep it because she was a breed cat? There are thousand of other cats out there that need a home, I would know because I have 2 stray ones at home besides sphynx , lack of empathy and ethics turned out she had parvo and anytime we went to the front desk to visit or ask something they treated us like an inconvenience , I called the night of her first stay over night and the front desk staff said that “ she was okay given her condition” I asked him if she had been worst if they would’ve written it down and he said yes, apparently the doctor wasn’t there at the moment so “ he didn’t have much information besides the notes” WOW! Lack of staff communication only to find out the next day she DIED at this place and the staff was LAUGHING HARD laughing beside in the room that we were grieving in, Went to front desk, asked how long cremation process would take and they had no idea how long, no one knew anything. it was the most inhumane experience being in this place I would never come back again
I brought my dog for an oncology consult with Dra. Vazquez and had a very pleasant experience! All the staff I encountered were great. Dra. Vazquez was able to perform all the necessary diagnostics the same day and her optimism and honesty gave me some peace.
Giving everyone a warning. Stay away from this place. They take the money in a rush and then do not provide test results. They stop taking your calls after they are paid. Only go here if no one else is open. DR Vasquez at the oncology department is very poor at communication and starts yelling when you don’t agree with her. She’s not only terrible at her job but she also lacks basics communication skills. I have done my job of warning anyone who loves their pets to stay far away from these people.
My wife and i vacationed to Puerto Rico and found a stray puppy. We looked for rescues however they were all full- we took him to an ER vet then here and the people at doctor pet got him well again. Their care and kindness meant so much to my wife and I . The puppy (Gus) was boarded there for a little over two weeks until he was well enough to fly. They were absolutely amazing. The first picture was the first day we got him, the second when i picked him up from them and the third him meeting his brother and sister !
5 star experience! Extremely fast service. I walked right in, literally waited less than 10 min to get checked in and went straight into the exam room. I was greeted by vet tech Carlos who was extremely nice, listened to me ramble about my dog and her situation and took detailed notes for the record. Then Dr. Sanchez came in to evaluate the dog. She was charismatic and knowledgeable. She was also very forward with telling me what the dog had and how to address it. They quickly packed our meds and had us out the door in no time. It was also relatively cheap considering it was 9:30 pm and this is an emergency clinic. The clinic is well kept and clean. Ample parking on the premises.
