(from Google)Lime Ridge Open Space Preserve is a peaceful green belt right in the metro area, with rolling hills and wide-open views in every direction. Even in winter, the landscape starts turning green, offering calm, scenic trails before wildflower season arrives. It’s very family-friendly—lots of kids, dog owners, and locals out enjoying relaxed walks and outdoor time. An easy escape into nature without leaving the city.
Great trails and the hikers dont give you a hard time as you pass.
Beautiful spacious view! Easy to moderate route, just to avoid the muddy roads. Great place to have a peaceful trail.
This place is blessed! The first time at the top of this mountain I got shocked as how beautiful it is, I mean, you are still in the city, easy access and you can literally disconnect from everything and stay in peace over there! The Sunset is gorgeous and not crowded at all, so is perfect! If you never been there, Just go!!!
Great hiking trail for an hour full of cardio. Due to recent rains, trail is full of mud and washed out slides. Great views of Mt. Diablo and Concord/Pleasant Hill suburbs. You do have decent number of benches to sit around, though not clean enough 😉
